At present,a lot of entrepreneur in internet technology industry arise,and quite a few of them have developed through their own efforts or external funding.Company J is a startup company of mobile internet.It obtained a funding of Fifty Million through a H5 marketing designing tool ME and achieved an explosive growth which expanded the company size from around ten people to around one to two hundred people.The expansion of the research and development team makes the company facing a series of management issues.Based on such background,this paper has studied and analyzed Company J’s management of software research and development.This paper has systematically analyzed and researched the status of Company J’s management of research and development from perspectives of research and development strategy,research and development process,organization structure,performance review,etc.As to research and development strategy,it failed to satisfy its strategic needs of commercially transformation;as to research and development process,barriers between departments resulted in inability to meet increasing projects needs from the market;as to organization structure,departments setting based on product lines resulted in serious waste of research and development resources;as to performance review,only length of working hours is adopted as the review standard which failed to drive employee’s motivation.Based on this research,this paper has come up with a research and development management solving plan.As to product process,communication and control points are established between departments based on IPD model,and in the daily work agile development model is utilized to perform scrum meeting,scrum project management tool Redmine,rapid update with mini version,etc.as to organization structure,development is separated from management and business is separated from structure with reference to flattening theory;as to performance review,its system is restructured with reference to competence model.Through reform of research and development management,Company J has finally established kind communication environment between departments,realized unified allocation of research and development resources and liberalized production capabilities of development staff.
