Evolution Analysis On Interdisciplinary And Regional Differences In Library And Information Science

In the process of knowledge development in the past decades,the emergence of emerging areas and technologies are all affecting and promoting the deconstruction and reconstruction of the structural relationship of related disciplines.As a result,interdisciplinary research is generally considered as a way of scientific and technological innovation.At the same time,the development of science and technology and the knowledge transmission between disciplines make the interdisciplinary integration of knowledge distinct.The interdisciplinary integration of knowledge from different disciplines is becoming increasingly prominent.Interdisciplinary breakthrough the barriers of different disciplines to gain benefit through the knowledge transmission between disciplines.Based on the bibliographic data of the International Library and Information Science journals,this paper constructs the domain knowledge graph,and extracts subject information,national information,temporal information,and the correlation information among the four from it,to generate the interdisciplinary network,“discipline-continent” correlation network and the “discipline-region”correlation network.From the perspectives of the evolution,geographical distribution,and national differences of interdisciplinary,this paper tracks and analyzes the interdisciplinary problems in the field of Library and Information Science by comprehensive analysis of time and space.The results show that the interdisciplinary in the field of Library and information science has the same characteristics of a small-world network,and the phenomenon of interdisciplinary is increasingly significant.There are some differences in the tendency of interdisciplinary in different areas of the field of Library and Information Science,and the interdisciplinary of method and technology aspect occupies the dominant position.This study is of great significance for a comprehensive insight into the interdisciplinary and integration problems in the field of science and technology and can provide a useful reference for the formulation of national science and technology strategy and subject development planning.
