The Quantitative Analysis Of Discipline Intersection Of Library And Information Science In China

With the advancement of the times and the development of science and technology,the exchange of information and knowledge has become more convenient,and the interdisciplinary knowledge has become more frequent and interlinked.This kind of knowledge intersection and multiple connections have led to a continuous deepening of the interdisciplinarity of disciplines and new ideas and ideas of the discipline.New concepts continue to emerge,disciplines promote the development of disciplines and academic innovation research.For this reason,cross-disciplinary or inter-disciplinary knowledge exchange has become an important area of research for scholars at home and abroad.This paper takes the subject of China's library and information science as the research object,and regards the interdisciplinary behavior of library and information science as a complete process including knowledge borrowing and output to study the characteristics and significance of the intersection of library and information science disciplines.In this paper,the abstract knowledge fusion process is quantified using the metrology method.The subject diversity,balance,and vitality index based on the citation are selected as independent variables.The number of keywords and the overall index are the dependent variables.The regression analysis is used to analyze the independent variable pair.Based on the effects of dependent variables,the analysis found that China's Library and Information Science,as a comprehensive humanities and social sciences including library science and information science,borrowed extensively from industrial technology,economy,history,geography and social sciences.The knowledge of many other disciplines,among which the computer science of industrial technology is the most significant.The diversity of the disciplines of library and information science has promoted the emergence of new discipline knowledge,broadened the perspective of research,innovated research methods,and enriched the discipline knowledge system of library and information science;the tendency of the intersection of library and information science disciplines prompted the study of the discipline of library and information science.Breakthrough progress has been made;the interdisciplinary vitality of the discipline of library and information science has driven the research and innovation in the emerging fields of the discipline of library and information science.However,there are still gaps in the division of knowledge in libraries and information sciences,the depth of research and innovation,and measures should be taken from the construction of multidisciplinary systems,the improvement of scientific research evaluation indicators,and the emphasis on scientific research ideological education.
