The Communist Party of China(CPC)and our country have been paying great attention to the young generation for Chinese excellent traditional culture education all the time.Short Classical Chinese is a special carrier of Chinese excellent traditional culture,and it is also an important tissue for Chinese excellent traditional culture education.Short Classical Chinese is short in length,concise in speech and rich in implication of the Chinese textbooks for primary schools compiled by the ministry,it contains philosophy,humanistic spirit and traditional morality,which play an important role in cultivating cultural deposits and inheriting cultural genes for primary school students who are in the key stage of traditional culture enlightenment education.Therefore,carrying out the teaching of traditional culture education in Short Classical Chinese is beneficial to the develop students' key competence of Chinese,to promote students' identification with traditional culture,to enhance students' cultural self-confidence,and then realizes to the understanding and the inheritance of culture.At present,the new changes of Short Classical Chinese in the Chinese textbooks for primary schools compiled by the ministry and the new requirements of the state for traditional culture education,which have put forward higher requirements and challenges to teachers for Short Classical Chinese teaching.Therefore,it is practical significance to investigate Short Classical Chinese teaching for this paper.Based on this,this study uses the literature analysis method to sort out the relevant studies on Short Classical Chinese at home and abroad firstly,and initially forms a certain understanding,so as to making the foundation for further research;secondly,using the questionnaire survey and interview methods to find out the current situation of Short Classical Chinese teaching in four primary schools of Linyi city.At last,according to the survey results,it is found out the following problems: there is a bias in teachers' teaching cognitive orientation;teaching literacy does not match the requirements of discipline;teaching objectives emphasize instrumentality over humanity;teaching content emphasizes word explanation over traditional cultural education;teaching methods emphasize teachers' teaching and light students' cultural perception;teaching activities emphasize teacher-led and light students' cultural experience;teaching evaluation emphasizes paper-and-pencil examination tests and light comprehensive evaluation.At the same time,the cause of problems are also attributed: first,the deep-rooted influence of the idea of test-oriented education;second,the constraints of the particularity and complexity of Short Classical Chinese teaching;and third,the constraint of the lack of teachers' own teaching literacy abilities.Based on the analyzing the actual dilemma and influencing factors,this study attempts to propose strategies to strengthen the effectiveness of Short Classical Chinese teaching from the following points.Firstly,teachers should abandon the thought of examination-oriented education and follow up the educational ideas of the new era in the aspect of teaching cognition.Secondly,teachers should accumulate traditional culture and improve the teaching quality of Short Classical Chinese.Thirdly,teachers should take the following teaching strategies in practice: study the teaching material carefully,make sure the value orientation is correct;modify the teaching goal,pay attention to the humanities theme;analyze the teaching content,excavate the cultural element;innovate the teaching method,guide students to perceive the traditional culture;enrich teaching activities,lead students to understand the traditional culture;improve teaching evaluation,cultivate students' traditional culture literacy.Looking back on this paper,although this study has made a deep investigation into the current situation of Short Classical Chinese teaching,it has found that there are still some deficiencies in the study due to the influence of realistic factors and self-ability.First,in view of some difficult to quantify the phenomenon in the teaching process,the research should be combined with classroom observation,case analysis and other qualitative methods to carry out a comprehensive investigation in the future.Second,the specific teaching strategies proposed in this paper still need to be further verified by practice.With Short Classical Chinese teaching gradually becoming the focus of scholars and experts,the researches about Short Classical Chinese teaching will be more and more abundant in the future.
