In the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition)clearly puts forward the teaching task group of reading and discussion of the whole book,realizes the transformation of the whole book reading from extracurricular reading to compulsory reading,and highlights the importance of the whole book reading teaching.Thunderstorm is a landmark work of Chinese drama.It enjoys a high reputation in the history of modern literature in China and has important literary and teaching value.It can help students master drama common sense,spread students’ thinking,improve students’ aesthetic appreciation and creative ability,and promote students’ understanding and inheritance of traditional drama culture.It is a necessary work for reading and teaching the whole book.Therefore,this paper chooses to explore the whole book reading teaching of thunderstorm,in order to put forward effective countermeasures for the whole book reading teaching of thunderstorm and optimize the effect of the whole book reading teaching of thunderstorm.This paper takes 300 students and 12 Chinese teachers from three ordinary senior high schools in a city as the object of investigation and research.The results show that teachers are affected by factors such as examination oriented teaching thought and the special literacy of reading teaching of the whole book to be improved.There are some problems,such as insufficient preparation,single teaching methods and guidance methods,rigid and one-sided evaluation methods and so on;Due to the lack of good reading habits and accumulation of reading methods of the whole book,students have some problems,such as lack of reading initiative,lack of effective reading methods and so on.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward that teachers should change the teaching concept of whole book reading,teach effective methods of whole book reading,and optimize the evaluation method of whole book reading effect;Students should change the mentality of reading the whole book of thunderstorm,formulate a scientific reading plan for the whole book of thunderstorm,and use effective reading strategies for the whole book.Then,the author selected two classes in D high school in a city that have not yet carried out the whole book reading teaching of Thunderstorm for teaching experiments.The experimental class optimized the whole book reading teaching scheme of thunderstorm according to the above improvement suggestions,and the control class did not adjust the whole book reading.The results after the experiment show that: Improved "thunderstorm" book reading teaching plan,not only can effectively improve high school students in "thunderstorm" book reading autonomy and motivation,but also further enhance the high school students in "thunderstorm" overall level of the whole book to read,also can let high school students in the process of reading experience the whole book reading fun,It verifies the effectiveness of improving the reading teaching of thunderstorm.However,in order to ensure that the whole book to read whole results.we must pay special attention to the key point in the process there are mainly two things: one is to manage the entir e book reading teaching classroom order,two is must to control the progress of the whole book reading after class and validity,especially closely to the underachiever the progress of the whole book reading,validity and performance.
