In the 21 st century,people need to use higher-order conceptual thinking to master the increasing knowledge.With the continuous development of curriculum reform at home and abroad,many countries begin to use the big concept to organize the curriculum.The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020)proposes to take the big concept of subjects as the core and implement the cultivation of students' key Competencies of Chinese subject.The unified compilation of Chinese textbooks for high school advocates a holistic design for unit content,and unit teaching is convenient to complete the teaching transformation of the big concepts of Chinese due to its sufficient class hours and teaching content.In view of this,this study focuses on exploring the value and application of big concept theory in the teaching design of Chinese unit in high school.Starting from the theory of big concept,this study summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad,and defines the connotation of the big concept of Chinese subject,the key Competencies of Chinese subject,and the Teaching design of Chinese subject unit,emphatically clear big concept hierarchy and the relationship between the core concepts,probes into the research status of integrating big concept into unit teaching design.Then,starting from the current situation of Chinese unit teaching in high schools in China,the significance of unit teaching design based on big concept is clarified,and the path of Chinese unit teaching design based on big concept in high schools is put forward,which includes determining big concept of unit,clarifying learning results,planning evaluation system,designing learning activities,and introducing the characteristics of implementation of the path.Finally,the teaching design is carried out around the content of unit one of the first volume of the unified compilation of high school Chinese compulsory,so as to make unit teaching design path concrete,in order to provide reference for the teaching of front-line teachers and get out of theoretical misunderstandings and practical difficulties.The teaching design of high school Chinese unit based on big concept points to the construction of an open and orderly curriculum system,which can help students gradually perceive the overall conceptual framework of Chinese subject in the learning process,cultivate the subject concept and expert thinking,and finally help students better adapt to future study and life.
