The trail edition of Senior Chinese in Shanghai was born in the twostage of the curriculum reform. It has changed the single thematic styleunit of the experimental edition with the juxtaposition of thematic styleunit and literary style unit to base the Shanghai senior high Schooltextbooks. Nowadays, since the Chinese Curriculum Criterion has paida great emphasis on humanism and Chinese comprehensive quality, sothe content unit has been a much popular one. Literary style unit alsohas a change that includes a series of knowledge articles with literarytheories about reading appreciation on literary works to lead thestudents to reading literary works. But they also exist manydisadvantages in varying degrees because of the fact that staticteaching material can’t reflect the dynamic teaching completely. Sothis essay wants to express that if we want the static unit to serve thedynamic teaching, we should make the units recombined on base ofthe research and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages on theteaching materials units. We should recombine the units according tothe needs of the practical teaching to make up for the disadvantagesof the units and afford private advice and suggestions for the teachingwhen they deal with the unit teaching problems.The article is made up of three sections.The first chapter sorts out several important measures to make upfor the unit in the history (included the content unit and literary style unit)and analyze their causes, advantages and disadvantages.The second chapter uses some theories and through thecomparation between the trail edition in Shanghai and some othertextbooks in the history and at the same period, from many aspectssuch as theme setting, literary style contents and classify, extensionabout outside class etc. to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the thematic unit and literary style unit of Shanghai senior high schoolChinese textbooks and do the private revises.The third chapter is a try of diversified combination of the unitaccording to the results of study in the previous two chapters andclassic historical Chinese teaching materials.
