The attraction and retention of teachers in rural schools is not only a stubborn problem in the construction of rural teachers,but also a common challenge faced by the whole world.In order to solve this problem,the Australian government started with the pre-service training of rural teachers,took the internal emotion of pre-service teachers as the breakthrough point,based on the core concept of local consciousness,continuously optimized its training objectives,curriculum setting,teaching practice and evaluation system,gradually formed a pre-service training model of rural teachers with the orientation of local feelings,and trained a large number of rural teachers with excellent quality,outstanding ability and dedication for the countryside.In recent years,although China has actively promoted the construction of rural teachers,there are still some problems,such as difficulties in attracting rural teachers,a large loss of backbone teachers and weak local feelings of teachers.The main reason is that the pre-service training model of rural teachers is not perfect.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the pre-service training model of rural teachers in Australia,so as to provide reference for the optimization of the pre-service training model of rural teachers in China.In view of this,this study adopts literature method,comparative method and case study method to study the pre-service training model of rural teachers with the orientation of local feelings in Australia.First of all,this paper expounds the background and concept of the model.Secondly,the model is elaborated from the aspects of training objectives,curriculum setting,teaching practice and evaluation system.Thirdly,Australia's New South Wales is selected as a case to deeply demonstrate the operation mode of the model.Finally,the characteristics of the training model are summarized.Combined with the actual problems existing in the rural teachers' pre-service training in China,the suggestions for the rural teachers' pre-service training model in China are given,that is,cultivating the local feelings of pre-service teachers;embedding rural elements in the curriculum;extending teaching practices to rural communities;giving full play to the role of pre-service training in rural communities.
