| Higher vocational education is an important part of the national education system,undertaking the great task of training skilled personnel and promoting social development,and has become one of the forms of education of great critical importance at present.As students are used to the teacher-led and student-passive learning mode before the college entrance examination,once enter the university,without the strict management of teachers,many college students with poor self-control ability are bound to have problems,not least of which are students in higher vocational colleges.The problem of insufficient learning motivation is more obvious for higher vocational college students compared with undergraduates,and it is more relevant to help higher vocational college students solve their existing problems.The lack of motivation will affect students’ clear planning of study and work and hinder the overall development of students in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,the problems of students in higher vocational colleges need to be solved urgently and the high attention to this group of students in higher vocational colleges should be strengthened.This study takes students with low learning motivation in higher vocational colleges as the research objects,and uses Strengths perspective theory to intervene with students under the guidance of social work values and methods,in an attempt to explore the model and effectiveness of group work intervention to improve learning motivation of higher vocational college students.In the early stage of the study,the author used questionnaires and interviews to investigate and understand the situation of students’ learning motivation in S higher vocational colleges in detail,and found that some students have biased self-perception,low self-confidence in learning and weak learning motivation.On the basis of this,we have developed a learning motivation group by applying the Strengths perspective theory and the learning motivation theory,and designed seven group activities based on the group objectives,with the aim of improving the learning motivation of the objects.In the early stage of group activities,social workers help group members to get familiar with each other,promote communication among group members and establish a good professional relationship;In the middle of group activities,help group members to understand themselves correctly,explore their own strengths and resources,build self-confidence and motivate learning.;At the later stage of the group activities,the social worker guided the group members to consolidate their motivation and strengthen their learning effectiveness.Finally,the process and effect of the seven group activities were evaluated,it was found that by helping group members to establish correct self-cognition,build self-confidence and enhance the ability to solve problems,group members have a certain degree of improvement in learning motivation.But the improvement and maintenance of learning motivation is a long-term process that requires continuous social work intervention,therefore,it is necessary and sustainable for group work to intervene in the improvement of students’ learning motivation. |
