With the development of the times,the integration of curriculum thought and politics and subject teaching will become the key and focus in the field of teaching in the future.The thought of Building Morality and cultivating people reflects the fundamental goal and direction of education.Therefore,in the educational work,we should deepen the connotation of "curriculum ideological and political" construction according to China’s long-term development goals and the requirements of Building Morality and cultivating people,so as to lay a good foundation for improving students’ cultural and ideological and political literacy."Curriculum ideological and political" is an effective breakthrough to improve the ideological and cognitive level of middle school students.At the same time,it not only gives the core quality of geography a real foothold,but also enriches the research system of Ideological and political design of middle school geography curriculum.In addition,this study can fill the gap of Ideological and political research in geography curriculum to some extent,and provide reference for other disciplines to carry out ideological and political teaching activities in the future.This study adopts the research methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case study.Firstly,it combs the relevant research on curriculum thought and politics at home and abroad;It defines the related concepts of curriculum thought and politics and geography curriculum thought and politics;Secondly,it investigates the attitude of junior one students of X Middle School in Qinghai Province towards the thought and politics of geography curriculum,and draws the investigation conclusion;Then,it puts forward the design principles,basic requirements and design process of ideological and political education of geography course;Thirdly,taking the above principles,requirements and processes as the starting point,this paper designs specific cases of Ideological and political education in geography curriculum;Finally,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.At this stage,the research on the ideological and political teaching design of geography curriculum at home and abroad is still weak.The radiation of curriculum thought and politics in junior middle school is insufficient,and the phenomenon of marginalization is obvious.2.Through the questionnaire survey of students and the interview with teachers,it is found that there are some problems in the geography teaching of junior middle school,such as the concept of curriculum ideology and politics has not been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,the subject integration education has not been effective,the geographical teachers’ own ideological and political knowledge reserve is insufficient and their own morality needs to be improved.3.The design of curriculum ideology and politics in junior middle school geography teaching should be based on four basic principles: seeking truth from facts,innovative thinking,highlighting key points and paying attention to practical results;We should follow the basic requirements of the combination of explicit education and implicit education,the combination of theory and practice,the combination of commonness and characteristics,and the combination of positive education and discipline;In the specific design,we should effectively integrate the content of geography and curriculum thought and politics,and construct an optimized action process.4.Geography teaching content can be effectively integrated with the ideological and political curriculum.Taking "understanding the face of the earth" in Grade 7 of Jin education edition as an example,this paper carries out the teaching design according to the teaching suggestions put forward by the Institute,and through the whole process demonstration,in order to provide reference for other chapters and other disciplines to carry out curriculum ideological and Political Teaching activities.
