Under the background of the new college entrance examination and the new round of curriculum reform,the state advocates strengthening student career planning guidance,actively offering elective courses to road and enhance students’ knowledge and ability.Biology Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017 Edition)added career planning special topic in elective courses,including food safety and quarantine module.For nearly a decade,food safety problems occur frequently in China.2019,Regulations on School Food Safety and Nutritional Health Management officially implemented.Campus food safety and quarantine work is more stringent.January 2020,with the spread of 2019-n Co V and the development of food virus quarantine,the food safety and quarantine profession has further entered the people’s vision.Based on the theory of curriculum construction,vocational ability training as the main line,combined with suggestions in Biology Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017 Edition)to structure curriculum.This paper analyzes the running idea,teachers,facilities and so on of school.Through the vocational maturity scale and self-designed questionnaires,the students’ professional maturity level,learning needs,food safety and quarantine professional accomplishment and behavior habits were investigated.Refer to the professional curriculum materials,develop the high school "food safety and quarantine" career planning prospective elective courses.Clear curriculum objectives,curriculum content.Then according to the opinions and suggestions of experts,high school teachers,further modify and adjust the curriculum framework.According to the specific curriculum content,select teaching methods,curriculum activities,establish a perfect curriculum evaluation mechanism,implement the curriculum and carry out curriculum evaluation.The results show that the degree of love and satisfaction of course arrangement is high.The students’ professional knowledge and behavior accomplishment of food safety and quarantine have been improved significantly.They have basically learned scientific inquiry and cooperative study,formed a good habit of paying attention to food safety and healthy life,actively propagated relevant knowledge and ideas,achieved the curriculum goal and implemented the biological key competencies.The course helps to improve the career maturity,improve the students’ career planning ability,contribute to the formation of career decision-making knowledge and career self-confidence,and play a good role in improving the curriculum effect.If the arrangement of class hours and other aspects adjustment,curriculum construction will be more mature.
