Food Safety Management Present Situation And Countermeasure Research Of Junior Middle School In The City Of Yanji

School food safety is related to young people’s health and life and it is the focus of the whole society. In recent years, the scholars’ research findings are rich. However, as far as the research of school food safety is concerned, mostly the health authorities find out the loopholes of school food safety management through surveys and inspection and provide suggestions for school administrators. The number of researches on school food safety from the perspective of school management is relatively small. Some scholars made a whole research on the school safety education and school emergency management and obtained the corresponding results, but quit a few people focused on the research into school food safety management. Therefore, based on the above shortcomings, research on the present situation of the food safety inside and outside the existing schools, ways of management of school canteens, school safety education and school emergency strategy, combined with the present situation of food safety inYanji junior high school, this paper will specially discuss the school food safety management, find management problems, analyze the causes and give the countermeasures.This paper made a research on food safety management in Yanji junior high school by adopting literature, survey and interview method. I referred to the policy documents such as opinion on strengthening the management of school canteen in the compulsory education section of the school issued by Office of the People’s Government of Yanbian and notice of further strengthening students’lunch management issued by Education Board of Yanji City for my questionnaire design. Moreover, I knew the situation of the junior high school students’ diet Next I made the questionnaire about the junior high school students food safety management in Yanji and divided it into students and teachers questionnaire. I found the flaws that exist in schools food safety management by surveying the students drinking water, lunches, snacks, and food safety education in the school, the situation of schools food safety supervision and inspection and the situation of the construction and the implementation of schools food safety system. Then I analyzed the causes of the problems by further interviews. Finally, I came to the conclusions as follows:(1). Junior high school administrators of Yanji City attach importance to the canteen management, but school snacks management system is not fully implemented. (2). Junior high school administrators of Yanji City takes food safety and accident prevention seriously, but the system related to handling accidents is not fully implemented. Meanwhile, the system of food safety post duty is not in detail. (3). Junior high school of Yanji City lacks food safety education training for staff. Because of lacking theories about food safety, headteachers can not lead students food safety in a scientific way. Meanwhile, headteachers’experience of handling food safety accidents is in a general level and they lack food safety emergency response capabilities. (4). The system isn’t fully implemented for regulating the behavior of employees in junior high schools of Yanji City. Employees may result in food safety accidents of operational behavior for a lack of the supervision for employees and the training of food safety education for employees. (5). Affected by exam-oriented education and other factors, curriculum of food safety in junior high schools in Yanji City is not comprehensive. Junior high schools in Yanji City lacks the corresponding building qualified teachers queue. The form of the school activities of food safety education is single, lacking interaction with parents. Students’lack of knowledge of food safety, the general attitude towards food safety and the poor food safety behavior need to be strengthened.Finally, according to the above existing shortcomings and problems, I give the following countermeasures:(1). Establish a long-term mechanism for school food safety management. The specific contents are as follows:regular training, improving staff awareness of food safety, regular practice, improving school food safety emergency response capabilities, using the scientific management methods, school administrators’communicating with students as much as possible, and improving and implementing food safety responsibility system; (2). Vigorously carry on food safety education. The specific contents are as follows:adding to teaching plans, ensuing the class hours of food safety education, holding various activities about food safety education, and enhancing communication with students’ parents.
