Research On The Construction Of Social Support Network For The Elderly Living Alone In Cities

According to the data of the seventh national census,as of November 1,2020,China has a population of 141.178 million,including 264.02 million people aged 60 and over,accounting for 18.70%,an increase of 0.6% over 2010.It can be seen that the problem of aging in China is becoming more and more serious.The worrying living conditions of the elderly.The social support network of the elderly living alone is insufficient,especially the informal support is weak,the community has more service resources for the elderly,but they are relatively scattered,and the resource utilization ability of the elderly living alone is insufficient,and the resources are not effectively used,resulting in the situation that the elderly living alone urgently need support in their daily life without effective support,and it is difficult to be rescued in time in case of accidents.These factors affect the quality of life of the elderly living alone.This paper is carried out under this background in order to explore a social support network construction mode suitable for localization path.This study chooses r street in Guangzhou as the research object to study the ownership of formal and informal resources of the elderly living alone in the community,the problems existing in the use of resources and the problems encountered in the construction of social support.Using the theory of social support network and the working method of case management,this study starts to intervene from two aspects: the personal capacity-building of the elderly living alone and the external construction of community resources,Improve personal self-esteem,improve personal resource utilization ability and relationship maintenance ability,integrate resources,build resource sharing platform,create community service atmosphere for the elderly,and promote the construction of social support network for the elderly living alone.Through the research,it is found that the intervention of case management in the social support network of the elderly living alone has the advantages of strong resource integration,cost saving and efficiency maximization.Case management plays an important role in the localization construction of the social support network of the elderly living alone,and the informal support network is an important support system for the elderly living alone.But at the same time,there are also deficiencies,such as the role orientation of social workers affects resource mobilization,the attitude of resource holders affects resource flow,the lack of participation of multiple subjects leads to ineffective performance,and the participation of the elderly living alone affects the construction of the network.Therefore,it is concluded from the research that it is necessary to improve the sensitivity of social workers to community resources,integrate the resources under their jurisdiction,promote the flow of formal and informal resources,improve the participation of resource parties,activate the use efficiency of resources,improve the attention of the elderly living alone in the community to community resources,promote the elderly living alone to use resources correctly and effectively,and improve their sense of life happiness and satisfaction.
