With the continuous development of China’s economy,the comprehensive national strength and international influence are increasing day by day.In the aspect of education,the close exchange with foreign advanced experience provides many new ideas for our quality education.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,our educators are constantly exploring and innovating in the way of cultivating quality education.As an important course to cultivate students’ sentiment and cultivate their extracurricular interests,music education has been paid more and more attention by schools and parents.In the process of teaching,more and more teachers begin to carry out extracurricular music activities on the basis of traditional classroom teaching to enrich the teaching mode.Orchestra activities are widely carried out in middle school music teaching because of the richness of music forms and the flexibility of participation methods.In the current middle school music teaching,many schools have set up a variety of student orchestras.Among them,Symphony Orchestra with its different instrumental timbre,high degree of harmony and unity,rich music level,strong expression and artistic appeal,has been widely recognized by the public,and because it can sharpen students’ will,cultivate students’ team spirit,and improve students’ artistic quality,it has gradually attracted attention in the music practice of domestic colleges and universities.With the popularization of elegant art,learning western musical instruments has become one of the specialties of teenagers.The number of student symphony orchestras in Colleges and universities in China is also increasing year by year.At present,there are two main forms of student symphony orchestras in Colleges and Universities: one is the Student Symphony Orchestra based on the school,which has a large number and unified management;Second,relying on the strength of other social organizations to create the Student Symphony Orchestra,this form of Student Symphony Orchestra is mainly engaged in social welfare activities,cultivate young people’s social practice and music aesthetic ability,or through the integration of social resources to promote the development of cultural undertakings,become an important part of social public services.But in the current school student symphony orchestra music teaching practice,because the symphony orchestra covers more music forms,there are certain difficulties in teaching and organization,so compared with other types of orchestras,the symphony orchestra is more difficult to carry out in China’s middle school student orchestras,and its application is less.In particular,the development of Student Symphony Orchestra in Guizhou is still in its infancy,and the number of secondary schools with Student Symphony Orchestra is small.Many schools have not started the establishment of Student Symphony Orchestra.Student Symphony Orchestra is of great significance to the development of students’ personality,the improvement of quality education in schools and the improvement of basic quality of local education.Therefore,in 2013,Guizhou Province will divide the symphony orchestra into the "application" of Guizhou ordinary high school,which has become an assessment item for re evaluation and upgrading of model high school.Since then,the middle schools in Guizhou Province began to pay attention to the formation of Student Symphony Orchestra.This paper takes the teaching practice of students’ Symphony Orchestra in Tongren No.1 Middle School of Guizhou Province as an example,and explores the teaching practice of students’ Symphony Orchestra in Tongren No.1 Middle School of Guizhou Province,in order to provide some ideas and strategies for the establishment of students’ Symphony Orchestra in middle schools of our country.
