It has been hundreds of years since oboe was induced to China.In the 1980s,there were lots of articles about oboe appeared.By 2016,the number of articles about oboe exceeds 2000.They can be divided into four categories,the theory teaching,reed and instrument maintenance,introduction of characters and analysis of works.However,I found that the playing documents about the ways of oboe performance training in primary and middle schools are limited as they can hardly be searched on China’s well-known websites.To solve this problem,I review lots of references and combine with my own teaching experience to write this article that hope it can inspire and help to improve the teaching and training methods of oboe in orchestra of primary and middle schools.The thesis starts from two directions,the position of oboe in the music history and its value as a form of art,and expound the importance of oboe to both orchestral group and symphony.In third chapter,we combine the law of students’ growth to analyze the common problems in oboe teaching and training by giving examples.It is divided into several sections,including the characters of physical and mental growth of students,the strength of mouth,the accuracy of tune,the cooperation with other instruments,and the learning progress.In forth chapter,we expound how to solve above common problems which often happen in orchestral of primary and middle schools based on the analysis on last chapter,including the endurance of lips,the breath and the accuracy of tune,the inspiration of skills.In fifth chapter,we discuss about the challenges and opportunities in the 21th century.And,the last chapter is the conclusion..This thesis is instructive for the oboe teaching and training in primary and middle schools.
