| Middle school Western Orchestra,as a comprehensive practical activity course,is one of the important ways to implement music education and an important component of the basic education curriculum system.The music curriculum standards play a crucial guiding role in the process of school music education,and school music education practice activities should be carried out around the curriculum standards.As a highly practical and influential educational activity in school music education,the band carries the significant mission of implementing the new curriculum standards.This study mainly focuses on Quanzhou Fifth High School and Quanzhou Experimental High School as the main survey objects.A questionnaire survey and data analysis were conducted on the selection,selection,rehearsal,performance,participation and support of students and parents in the orchestra activities of the two schools’ orchestras.The problems in the practice of the Western Orchestra in Quanzhou City,Fujian Province were explored,and in response to their shortcomings,it was proposed that the activities of the symphony orchestra should be guided by the music curriculum standards,In addition to enriching extracurricular life,it is necessary to continuously improve students’ aesthetic taste,cultivate their collective sense of honor,shape a value system that can correctly identify things and distinguish right from wrong,understand unity,cooperation,understanding,and tolerance,spread traditional Chinese culture,and contribute to regional music culture.I hope that this survey and analysis can provide experience and reference for the development of the Western Orchestra of middle school students in Quanzhou City in the future. |
