In advocating quality education today,how to train students with comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,artistic and labor has become one of the most important questions for educators.The educational ideology of "Educating People with Aesthetics" has been passed down in our country.Middle school music education focuses on cultivating students’ ability to feel beauty,express beauty,appreciate beauty,and create beauty,cultivate sentiment,develop personality,enlighten wisdom,enrich and develop image thinking,stimulate creativity and creativity,and comprehensively improve students’ quality.The development of music aesthetic literacy needs to cultivate students’ basic music knowledge and music skills,and enhance students’ aesthetic taste and aesthetic ability through good aesthetic experience,so as to achieve the sublimation of the spiritual world.In the "New Music Curriculum Standards"(2011 edition),chorus is stipulated as a compulsory content for junior high school music teaching.As a music teacher in a middle school in Chongqing,the author found in daily teaching practice and research that there are still many problems in current chorus teaching.For example,most students love popular music and current popular songs,and are well-known to traditional Chinese music and the world.Little is known about his excellent music works;at the same time,the teacher’s music teaching methods follow the rules,and most of the content in the textbooks are copied;the choir focuses on the learning of music knowledge and singing skills and so on.The existence of so many problems will definitely affect the quality of chorus teaching,and will ultimately affect the improvement of students’ aesthetic literacy.How to solve these problems,create a better chorus learning environment,and ultimately produce positive effects for the development of students’ aesthetic literacy enhancement? The author carried out this research with such thinking.In this paper,by studying the relationship between the goals of chorus teaching and the three elements of different aesthetic literacy,combined with the current problems in chorus teaching found in classroom teaching and field investigation,this article attempts to propose a practical way to improve chorus teaching and develop students’ aesthetic literacy.This research mainly used the literature method,questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method.First,the literature method is used to define aesthetic literacy,and the aesthetic literacy is divided into three components: aesthetic knowledge,aesthetic ability,and aesthetic awareness.Then,using the teaching goals defined in the "New Music Curriculum Standard" as a bridge,the three aesthetic literacy are built.The relationship between elements and chorus teaching,and through questionnaire surveys and classroom observation methods,the main problems in current chorus training are summarized as follows:not interested in the works they learn,teachers’ lack of knowledge of voice protection,and teachers’ piano accompaniment level needs to be improved Wait.Through analysis and analysis,it is believed that the main reasons for these problems are as follows: students lack the cognitive ability of chorus,teachers’ teaching goals are unreasonably set,the teacher’s choice of chorus works is relatively simple,the school’s supporting facilities are not perfect,and so on.On this basis,in response to these problems,it is proposed to further enrich the teaching content,refine the teaching objectives of the curriculum,further listen to excellent works and chorus performances to improve the aesthetic vision,guide students to comprehensively use various music knowledge and skills,and improve teachers’ aesthetic accomplishments And students’ aesthetic experience and other suggestions,and teaching examples are also given when individual suggestions are made.Finally,in the conclusion,it summarized how to use chorus as a means to improve students’ aesthetic knowledge,aesthetic ability and aesthetic awareness,and then to improve the practical path of students’ aesthetic quality.This study has insufficient sample selection and the number of selected research objects is not large enough.This is caused by the limitation of the author’s working environment.Therefore,the suggestions made may not be comprehensive and will be further deepened in future research.
