A Social Work Practice Study On The Improvement Of The Quality Of Leisure Life Of The Elderly In The Resettlement Area H By Ex Situ Poverty Alleviation And Relocation

"Relocation for Poverty Alleviation" is an important measure taken by the government to help farmers who live in areas with bad natural environment and no productive capacity to get rid of poverty as soon as possible.Most of the young and middle-aged laborers among the relocated people choose to go out to work,and most of those who stay in the resettlement areas are the elderly.Due to the improvement of living environment,the leisure time of the elderly increases,and leisure life becomes an important part of the lives of the relocated elderly.Leisure life is an important reflection of a person's quality of life.It is beneficial to promote the physical health and mental health of the elderly and to enhance the happiness index of the old age.This study in the relocation of poverty relief H resettlement areas to the elderly as the research objects,Through understanding the status of the leisure life of the elderly in resettlement areas,combined with theoretical analysis of the problems of leisure life,try to intervene through social work resettlement areas elderly leisure life quality improvement.The survey results show that the leisure life of the elderly in H resettlement area has the following problems: First,After the relocation,the elderly leisure activities are reduced and the leisure mode is monotonous;Second,after the relocation of leisure time increased and leisure life boring;Third,after the relocation of leisure life lack of peer contact.To solve these problems,social workers,guided by activity theory and social support theory,intervene the leisure life of the elderly in the resettlement area by combining group work and community work.In order to enrich the leisure life of the elderly through the form of rich group activities and various types of community activities,improve the quality of leisure life and the elderly happiness index.The intervention of group work is mainly to enrich the leisure activities of the elderly in H resettlement area through seven sections of group activities to help them build peer suppo rt in the process of participating in activities;Community work is through three large-scale c ommunity activities,relying on stalls games,let the elderly in the process of participating in stalls games to understand community safety and civilized knowledge of the "civilized com munity action" garden activities,combined with interests of the elderly,The "Years Like Son gs,Sing Your Old Age" fun activities to encourage the elderly to actively show themselves,a nd the recreational activities to meet the needs of the elderly for physical exercise,"Getting Fit and Moving," Through participation in community activities,the elderly can learn knowl edge,have fun,show themselves and broaden their circle of friends.Because the leisure activities of the elderly is a routine life state,so social work involve d in the elderly leisure life quality improvement is a long-term practical process.Reflecting o n the practical process,only the group activities and several community activities carried out by social workers can not meet the elderly continuous leisure needs,the elderly,the family,t he community and other aspects of the continuous role.
