In our country,the frequent natural disasters,to the country's economic construction and people's life and property and bring a serious threat to social stability development.Xi general secretary stressed that "there is no limit to our understanding of the laws of nature,disaster prevention and mitigation and relief is the eternal subject of human development." Schools are the best place for education about disaster risk reduction.As a component of quality-oriented education,the education of disaster prevention and reduction is beneficial to the improvement of students' practical ability,as well as the important content of cultivating students' practical ability of geography.In addition,it is also conducive to the penetration of sustainable development ideas.For high school geography teachers,one of the main ways to integrate disaster risk reduction education into geography curriculum is school-based curriculum development,so the development of the corresponding regional disaster risk reduction school-based curriculum is particularly important.Due to its complex natural conditions,Jishishan County in Gansu Province has natural disasters such as landslide,flood,drought,rainstorm and hail all the year round.Therefore,it is necessary to develop the school-based course of disaster prevention and reduction for students in this area.This paper mainly adopts the method of literature,interview and case study to study the development of school-based curriculum from two aspects of theory and practice.First of all,on the basis of the reading of vast amount of literature,defines the core concept of disaster prevention and mitigation,school-based curriculum development;The research progress of school-based curriculum development and disaster prevention and reduction education at home and abroad is summarized.Secondly,on the basis of practice,through interviews with school leaders,geography teachers and some students,the needs of schools and students in developing schoolbased courses on disaster risk reduction in M Middle School were deeply understood.The practice of school-based curriculum development is carried out according to the principle and basic process of school-based curriculum development.Finally,through the case study method,taking the natural disaster education in Jishishan County as an example,two teaching cases,"Landslide Disaster and Prevention" and "Meteorological Disaster Education : Observation study at Jishishan Meteorological Station " were implemented.The design ideas,implementation process,learning evaluation and teaching reflection were elaborated respectively,and then the overall evaluation and reflection were made on the two implementation cases.Centered on the development of school-based curriculum for disaster prevention and reduction,this study finally drew the following conclusions:(1)The most important thing in the development of school-based curriculum is to meet the needs of students and pay attention to their practical ability.(2)School-based curriculum development should always focus on the core quality of the subject.(3)The implementation of school-based curriculum can adopt the mode of research and study travel to carry out different forms of teaching.(4)School-based curriculum development should be school-based,student-oriented and teacher-oriented.The development of school-based curriculum for disaster risk reduction requires teachers to master related theories of curriculum development as well as deepen their own knowledge of disaster risk reduction.(5)School-based curriculum development cannot rely on the strength of a single person,but needs team cooperation.(6)Schoolbased curriculum development requires school leaders and teachers to change their ideas and attitudes and actively participate in it.
