Inner Mongolia pastoral areas have frequent natural disasters and the ecological environment has obvious fragility.Its overall ability to prevent and control disasters is relatively insufficient.Therefore,how to improve the disaster prevention and control capacity of pastoral areas and improve the quality of life of herdsmen has become a problem that social workers need to pay attention to.Based on the current situation of disasters in pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia,this study took G Gacha in Siziwang Banner as the research site,and used the literature research method and field research method to collect data.Through interviews with local herdsmen,learn about local disasters,prevention measures,herdsmen's production and life,and social culture.Secondly,the present situation of disaster prevention and control in G Gacha is analyzed.The local work in disaster prevention and control has achieved remarkable results,but there are still some problems such as omissions in pre-disaster preparations,inadequate rescue in disasters,and lack of long-term effectiveness of post-disaster services.Through the analysis of the causes of the relevant problems,the reasons for the inadequacy of disaster-related infrastructure construction and publicity and education,insufficient rescue team construction,and too much emphasis on short-term benefits were identified.Finally,in view of the problems existing in disaster prevention and control in local pastoral areas,this research,based on the social work professional theories and methods,attempts to analyze the feasible path for social work to intervene in disaster services in pastoral areas.Strive to provide ideas for solving disaster-related problems in pastoral areas,promote the improvement of disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities in pastoral areas,and enrich the localized content of social work.
