Living in a multi-dimensional space,people need to have rich spatial capabilities in order to survive and develop better.The most critical period for the development of spatial ability lies in the primary school stage.The spatial concept knowledge that students learn in this stage not only contributes to the cultivation of mathematical thinking,the development of reasoning ability,the enhancement of application consciousness and creative ability;Can also help to communicate with real life,exchange,understand the empty world around a few,the formation of students' mathematical thinking.The educational value of space concept is self-evident,but there are many problems in the development of space concept teaching,which leads to poor teaching effect,and students' spatial thinking and spatial ability have not been fully developed.Especially in the remote rural schools,the teaching foundation is weak,the teaching quality is especially worrying.From this point of view,the author investigates the current situation of spatial concept teaching in rural primary schools,and puts forward teaching countermeasures,so as to provide some teaching references and teaching suggestions for front-line rural teachers.This study takes the teachers and students of C Primary School in rural areas of Qinhuangdao City as the research objects,and uses four research methods,namely questionnaire survey,interview method,observation method and test method,to investigate the teaching status of "spatial concept".And find out the existing problems in the teaching of "space concept",on this basis,put forward the feasible teaching countermeasures for primary school mathematics teachers,in order to improve the teaching.According to the survey,the main problems in the teaching of "spatial concept" in rural C primary schools are as follows:(1)the understanding of "spatial concept" is not in-depth;(2)the design of teaching objectives is not based on the spatial development level of students;(3)the practical effect of exploratory and cooperative methods in the "spatial concept" class is not fully exerted;(4)the processing of the teaching content of "spatial concept" is not closely related to life;(5)the spatial concept assignment is not hierarchical and creative;(6)the evaluation method of spatial concept is single.In view of this problem,the following teaching strategies and suggestions are put forward for "spatial concept" :(1)Improving the understanding of spatial concept;(2)Teaching objectives are designed based on students' spatial development level;(3)Making full use of operational inquiry cooperative learning to develop spatial concept;(4)Strengthening the connection between teaching and life to provide rich experience for cultivating spatial concept;(5)fully rely on information technology,assist "space concept" teaching;(6)pay attention to guide students to experience and master the relevant mathematical thought method seven;(7)pay attention to the level of homework,and creativity,do "not top,bottom to protect the bottom";8.improve the evaluation system of students' space concept.
