Literacy teaching is an important teaching content in the low learning section of primary schools.The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 Edition)requires that the number of pupils in the first learning section should reach 1600.Literacy teaching is based on the unique sound,shape and meaning of Chinese characters,which can effectively improve the students’ ability to understand Chinese characters and cultivate their ability to use characters.The Outline of Curriculum Reform for Basic Education(Trial Implementation)points out that primary school teaching should adopt flexible methods to enhance students’ interest in learning and avoid mechanical indoctrination.The use of mind mapping in primary school literacy teaching can effectively enhance students’ interest in learning,make students actively involved in learning,and achieve good learning results.Through the method of investigation and research,this paper studies the application of mind mapping in the process of Chinese character,theory and literacy teaching in primary schools.The whole paper consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction.This part first introduces the research background of this paper,analyzes the significance of the research,sorts out the domestic and foreign research results on mind mapping and character literacy teaching,defines the specific connotation of relevant concepts,and introduces the main content and methods of this paper.The second part is the investigation of the application status of mind mapping in primary school Chinese character and theory literacy teaching.Some 8 primary schools in Liaoning Province were selected to investigate the application of mind mapping in the time teaching of Chinese character theory in primary schools.According to the results of the survey,the application of mind mapping was summarized from the perspectives of textbook arrangement,teachers and students.The third part is the analysis of the problems existing in the application of mind mapping in the teaching of Chinese character,theory and literacy in primary schools.At present,there are some problems in the application of mind map in the teaching of Chinese character theory and literacy in primary schools,which mainly include: primary school Chinese teachers’ cognition of mind map is not enough;Primary school students’ cognition of mind map is not deep enough;The promotion and application of mind mapping in schools are insufficient.In view of these problems,this paper summarizes the causes of these problems from three aspects: teachers,students and schools.The fourth part is the implementation principle and method of mind mapping in the primary school Chinese character theory and literacy teaching.The effective use of mind mapping in primary school Chinese literacy teaching should follow three important principles:feasibility principle,scientific principle and adaptability principle.On this basis,the article puts forward the practical and feasible operation methods for the application of mind map in the teaching of characters and sounds,the teaching of characters and meanings respectively.
