Classical Chinese reading is an important part of Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools.Xiong Fangfang,a famous Chinese teacher,advocates the educational idea of "live Chinese" in ancient classical Chinese reading teaching.Guided by the holistic reading teaching idea,she performs holistic reading through reading methods such as theme reading,analogy reading and in-depth reading.Xiong Fangfang’s holistic reading teaching of ancient poetic prose is conducted from the perspective of "live Chinese",aiming at making the in-depth communication and dialogue between students’ individual life and live Chinese possible.Through the dialogue with live Chinese,students may get their vitality stimulated,meanwhile,they are capable of understanding the meaning and value of life,realizing and carry forward traditional culture,and cultivating and further enhancing their core accomplishment of Chinese.This paper is consist of five sections.In the introduction section,it illustrates the research origin,concept definition,literature review,research significance and research methods adopted in this paper,and proposes a new research perspective after combing relevant literature.In the first section,it studies Xiong Fangfang’s holistic reading teaching view of ancient poetic prose.It mainly introduces the teaching concept of "live Chinese" and the connotation of "holistic reading teaching view" of ancient poetic prose from the perspective of "live Chinese",and analyzes "holistic reading teaching view" from the aspects of "textual integrity" and "thought integrity" by combining practical teaching cases.In the second section,it probes into Xiong Fangfang’s teaching method of holistic reading of ancient poetic prose.Taking Xiong Fangfang’s teaching practice as a entry point,it studies the typical lessons and analyzes Xiong Fangfang’s method of forming a holistic reading teaching method through thematic reading,analogy reading and indepth reading based on the analysis of relevant literature and works.The third section is about the study of characteristics of Xiong Fangfang’s holistic reading teaching of ancient poetic prose.It mainly analyzes the teaching characteristics of Xiong Fangfang’s teaching of ancient poetic prose reading from the perspective of holistic reading teaching,so as to cultivate students’ language construction and application,thinking development and promotion,as well as cultural inheritance and understanding.The fifth section is the conclusion part of this paper.It affirms the value of Xiong Fangfang’s teaching of ancient poetic prose reading,and hopes that front-line Chinese educators can put more emphasis on the uniqueness of Xiong Fangfang’s teaching of ancient poetic prose reading and make full use of the advantages of Xiong Fangfang’s teaching method of ancient poetic prose reading.
