With the continuous reform of modern education,Chinese education pays more and more attention to promoting the development and promotion of students' thinking ability in teaching activities.The Standard of Chinese Curriculum for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,revised in2020)defines "thinking development and improvement" as one of the core qualities of the discipline,and focuses on cultivating students' logical thinking and promoting dialectical thinking ability through the study task group of "speculative reading and expression".Looking at the reading materials of Chinese in senior high schools,the discourse texts have the characteristics of clear arguments,sufficient arguments and strict logic,and are the most speculative texts among the three major reading texts.In the teaching of speculative reading,it is of great significance to use students' language and writing,cultivate their logic and develop their thinking.YS Experimental High School is a key middle school in Jilin Province.The school has been following the pace of educational reform and paying attention to the cultivation of students' language thinking ability.Taking YS Experimental High School as the investigation object,this paper investigates the present situation of speculative reading teaching of discourse texts in YS Experimental High School by using various research methods,analyzes its achievements and shortcomings,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.The purpose is to better cultivate students' speculative thinking in the teaching of discourse text reading,and to improve students' logical ability and reading ability.This paper is divided into four chapters,the main contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,including the question,the purpose and significance of the research,the current research situation,the scope and methods of the research and the definition of the main concepts.The second chapter mainly discusses the basis for the development of speculative reading teaching in high school discourse texts: "Ordinary High School Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised in 2020)",the theoretical basis of constructivism teaching,and the critical thinking education thought;The third chapter analyzes the current situation of speculative reading teaching of discourse texts in YS Experimental High School through data analysis,and discusses the achievements of teachers' speculative reading teaching attitude,methods and teaching system,and students' attitude,thinking and achievements in learning discourse texts.Summarize the problems existing in teachers' research on curriculum standards and evaluation of critical thinking ability,students' critical thinking level,inquiry consciousness and argumentation methods;The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions on the problems of teachers and students in the teaching of speculative reading of discourse texts in YS Experimental High School.Teachers should participate in the training of teaching reform and update their teaching concepts;Attach importance to students' dominant position and avoid alternative thinking;Comprehensive and diversified teaching evaluation to improve students' cognition.Students should grasp the internal logic of the text and strengthen the speculative consciousness;"doubt" when exploring,and use thinking to solve doubts;Combine reading and writing of argumentative texts and master argumentation methods.It is hoped that the overall level of students' critical reading of discourse texts can be improved from practical teaching,which will provide reference for the critical reading teaching in YS Experimental High School and even in this area and have a certain positive impact.
