With the advancement of new curriculum reform,case teaching as a new practical teaching method has been gradually promoted and applied.The implementation of the Geography Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)makes the core literacy of geography become an important goal and orientation of middle school geography education.Case teaching can cultivate students' comprehensive thinking and practical ability of geography.In recent years,exploration on case teaching of geography is also increasing.The sense of place is an important concept of human geography,which is often used in the education of the sense of place.This paper links the case teaching in human geography education with the sense of place,explores the application of the sense of place in the case teaching of human geography in high school,and analyzes the orientation of the sense of place in geography teaching.This article has carried on the sense of place under the perspective of human geography case teaching material analysis,four versions textbooks and foreign materials,for example,in the domestic teaching materials on o 'clock,chart,textbooks and lu xiang version of textbooks as an example,through the observation and text analysis to the high school geography classroom activity as the research object,the analysis on the application of case teaching place,embodied in research,analysis the place feeling when teachers in the classroom teaching orientation;Using the methods of field investigation and statistical analysis,this paper analyzes the present situation of the sense of place in human geography case teaching,including the investigation of the present situation of case teaching of teachers and students' sense of place,and considers the relationship between the application of case teaching method and the orientation of the sense of place.Taking the sense of place as the main perspective,the teaching design of human geography in high school is carried out by using case teaching method,which are respectively the teaching design of "agricultural location factors and their changes" and "the influence of regional development on transportation layout".Finally,this paper analyzes and finds out the problems in human geography case teaching and the strategies to improve the sense of place in human geography case teaching.This paper suggests that the optimization should be carried out from the following aspects: establishing a geography case resource database,enhancing teachers' ability of local education in case teaching,cultivating students' sense of place and setting up students' feelings of home.Through the research,it is found that teachers have a high degree of recognition of case teaching method in human geography in high school,and the average value of each dimension of students' sense of place is high.In the correlation test of students' questionnaire,it was proved that gender,place of birth and sense of place were not significantly related.Whether to participate in community activities,the residence time,the frequency of community activities,the attitude of case teaching have a significant impact on the level of sense of place;There was a positive correlation between residence time and sense of place.The attitude of case teaching is positively correlated with the level of sense of place.It can be concluded that students' attitude towards case teaching will affect their sense of place in their hometown.The more they approve of case teaching,the higher their sense of place in their hometown will be.
