In the process of promoting the reform of high school education and teaching system,combined with the current situation of education,the state clearly emphasizes the requirements and standards of teaching reform of various disciplines.The core quality of each subject proposed in the standards has a key impact on the growth and development of students and the reform of education and teaching.Biology teaching material is not only an important carrier to implement the objectives of biology curriculum,but also a basic tool for teachers' teaching and students' learning.The object of this study is the most widely used in China,the 2007 edition of Senior High School Biology teaching materials.Through systematic analysis of the three compulsory textbooks,the setting of exercises and the penetration of the core literacy of biology,and questionnaire survey and interviews are conducted to understand the current situation of the use of textbook exercises by biology teachers in Chongzhou from the perspective of core literacy of biology.Then,based on this research,some suggestions on the compilation and use of textbook exercises are put forward.The preliminary conclusions are as follows:(1)Teachers have a certain understanding of the core literacy of biology,but they don't analyze and apply it from the perspective of macro development.(2)Teachers attach importance to the use of exercises in teaching materials,but they do not study them seriously,ignore the relationship between different disciplines,and do not highlight the value of cultivating core literacy.(3)There are many levels and types of exercises in the textbook,but most of them focus on the basic knowledge and the cultivation of life concept.(4)The material selection of exercises in teaching materials is related to the society,but it is out of touch with the current scientific development,which is not conducive to the cultivation and improvement of students' core quality.Based on investigation and statistical analysis,the following suggestions are put forward for the preparation of biology textbooks in senior high school and the use of textbook exercises by first-line biology teachers in Teaching:(1)More participation in the learning and teaching activities related to new curriculum standards and core disciplines literacy,in-depth understanding of the core elements of biology,and full analysis and application of textbook exercises.(2)According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the textbook exercises should be used scientifically and reasonably in combination with the study situation.(3)Make full use of all kinds of questions and make reasonable adaptation to the textbook exercises,and scientifically evaluate the development of students' core literacy in biology.(4)The new textbook should be compiled with exercises closely related to the actual life,related to the scientific frontier,medical health and the achievements of biological research in China,and can cultivate scientific thinking and scientific exploration.
