Since the 18th CPC National Congress,great attention has been paid to traditional culture such as Chinese traditional opera and the new curriculum standard has clearly brought it up that making opera goes to primary schools,middle schools as well as universities.As an integral part of quality education,it is worth thinking the way of implementation of opera teaching and inheritance of this traditional cultural treasure in junior high schools.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature research and textbook analysis,starting from the analysis of new and old versions of music textbooks,using the form of list.First of all,by comparing the differences between the new textbooks published in2018 and the old textbooks published in 1999,this paper expounds their emphasis on opera teaching from the aspects of different content settings,different layout settings,different teaching requirements and different learning fields.In the comparison,it is found that the proportion of opera content in the new textbooks has increased significantly,which reflects the national awareness of traditional Chinese opera teaching in recent years.We should attach great importance to urbanization.Secondly,it analyzes the contents of the two new versions of teaching materials published by People's Music Publishing House and People's Education Publishing House in 2018 in detail.The main purpose of opera teaching in junior middle school is to ask students to understand the types and characteristics of Chinese opera,the music characteristics of opera,and the representative figures of each type of opera.And the teaching methods of appreciation,singing and practice are adopted to embody the teaching principle of "taking aesthetics as the core and interests as the driving force".In the in-depth analysis of the teaching materials,from the cultural heritage behind the vivid opera stories,we explore the educational function of opera for middle school students.We believe that learning opera can carry forward the spirit of patriotism,inherit the virtue of respecting the elderly and filial piety,and stick to the foundation of honesty and trustworthiness.Through investigation and research,this paper analyzes the existing problems of junior middle school opera teaching in teachers,schools and students,deeply analyzes the problems,and puts forward some feasible suggestions,such as following the principles of opera teaching,developing new teaching resources,and improving junior middle school opera teaching methods.This study believes that it is the only way to carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture.Although there are opera contents in the middle school music textbooks,due to a variety of reasons,the classroom teaching and practice are not perfect.Teachers should actively study,seriously explore,combined with the current situation of students,from the reality,explore a new teaching mode in line with the current situation,and lead students to experience the truth,goodness and beauty of opera;schools should actively carry out extracurricular activities of opera;students should actively learn,inherit and carry forward traditional culture,starting from daily life.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore how to promote opera into the classroom of middle school.
