In order to implement the spirit of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in 2019,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the opinions on deepening the reform of education and teaching and improving the quality of compulsory education in an all-round way,which proposed to optimize the teaching method,pay attention to heuristic,interactive and inquiry teaching,teachers should guide students to think actively,ask questions actively and explore independently,and pay attention to cultivating,selecting and promoting excellent teaching Learning mode and teaching cases.The geography curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 Edition)issued by the Ministry of education advocates to adopt a variety of geographical learning methods to encourage students to learn independently,cooperate and exchange,and actively explore."5E Teaching Mode" is conducive to optimizing the geography classroom and improving the practical ability of students,so the use of "5E Teaching Mode" in classroom teaching is to meet the needs of the development of the times,to build a better and efficient geography classroom,to cultivate the practical ability of students and improve the professional quality of teachers.This research takes "5E Teaching Mode" as the starting point to design teaching cases,and uses the equal group experiment method and case study method to carry out teaching practice in the experimental class,and through SPSS 25 statistical analysis software is used to test the students’ learning situation and achievement of geography,understand the application effect of the model in junior high school geography teaching,summarize the problems in the application of "5E Teaching Model" and put forward solutions to these problems.The results show that:(1)"5E Teaching Mode" is based on students.In the classroom,students carry out inquiry activities according to the teacher’s prompts and guidance.While accepting knowledge,they are also actively mining knowledge,making the classroom atmosphere active,students enjoy it,learning interest more strong,and students’ learning interest is improved.(2)Under the guidance of "5E Teaching Mode",students need to construct their ownknowledge and actively preview before class.In the process of exploration,they need to maintain a rigorous and serious attitude,focus on active exploration,and put forward higher requirements for students’ consciousness.Students’ learning attitude has obvious changes.(3)Compared with before practice,the average value of learning methods of the students in the experimental class and the control class has been improved.Although there is no significant difference between the two classes,the average value of the students in the experimental class is higher than that in the control class.The use of "5E Teaching Mode" can promote the students to better master the geographical learning methods.(4)It is found in teaching practice that students can actively participate in inquiry activities,have a deeper understanding of inquiry teaching,dare to question and explore the geographical phenomena in life or natural environment,have the consciousness of summarizing and summarizing laws,and develop their inquiry ability.(5)After the students accept and gradually adapt to the "5E Teaching Mode",the students will learn,which is conducive to promoting the junior high school students’ geographical performance.The longer the use time,the more obvious the teaching effect.Based on the theoretical research of "5E Teaching Mode",this study has carried out a semester of practical application with this mode,which proves that "5E Teaching Mode" can promote the overall development of students and improve the core quality of geography;"5E Teaching Mode" is conducive to promoting the ability of teachers;"5E Teaching Mode" is feasible in junior high school geography teaching;"5E Teaching Mode" is suitable Use students at different levels.Therefore,we should treat and use "5E Teaching Mode" correctly and flexibly to make geography classroom more energetic and charming.
