The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has clearly put forward:"We must comprehensively implement the educational guidelines formulated by the Party,practice the fundamental task of establishing moral integrity in cultivation." Moral education is inseparable from quality education.It is clearly mentioned in the 2017 high school geography curriculum standard to cultivate students' essential core literacy of geography.Junior high school education is inseparable from senior high school education.We should keep up with the pace of education reform and lay a foundation for the training of geographical talents needed in the new era.At present,the reform of junior middle school geography classroom teaching mode and the improvement of classroom teaching efficiency have become the current research hotspot.Starting from the literature research of "thematic teaching mode" and combining with the current situation of junior high school geography classroom teaching in China,this thesis discusses the value and necessity of studying thematic teaching mode of junior high school geography classroom from three aspects as the entry point:classroom efficiency,students' ability development and teachers' professional growth.With the literature method and classroom observation method as the main research methods,the thesis obtains the application principles and steps of the thematic teaching mode of junior middle school geography class.With the method of questionnaire survey and interview,this thesis finds out the problems in the application of theme-based teaching mode to geography teaching.Finally,this thesis combined with relevant theories put forward countermeasures,in order to better improve the efficiency of the classroom.I hope this study can provide some help and reference for the majority of junior middle school geography teachers.This thesis mainly includes six parts.The first part is the introduction.In this thesis,the background,significance,thinking and direction of the research are determined through the study of relevant literature at home and abroad.The second part is the theoretical basis.This thesis defines the relevant concepts of theme-based teaching mode,and analyzes the theoretical basis of theme-based teaching mode.The third part is the middle school geography classroom status survey.This article through the student questionnaire and the teacher interview finds the current junior middle school geography classroom existence of some problems.The fourth part is the construction of theme-based teaching model.This thesis puts forward the application principles and steps of the thematic teaching mode of geography class in junior high school through the sorting of literature materials,the analysis of the current situation of middle school classrooms and the author's teaching experience.The fifth part is the practical application.Through the design of theme-based teaching model cases,this thesis carried out a semester of teaching practice.Finally,based on student test results,student questionnaire survey and teacher interview,this thesis evaluates the thematic teaching mode,finds out the problems existing after the application of the thematic teaching mode to the geography class,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.The sixth part is the main conclusion of this thesis,innovation and existing deficiencies,prospects and so on.
