As the "Manufacturing Power Strategy" is put forward,industrial robots play a more and more important role in industrial production as key equipment for intelligent manufacturing,and the society's demand for robot technology talents has also increased dramatically.Based on this situation,many colleges and universities have set up robot-related courses.However,the number of industrial robots used for college teaching is far from meeting the learning needs of students,which seriously affects the quality of industrial robot teaching in colleges and universities.This topic develops a virtual simulation platform for industrial robot application systems.It details the design process of the industrial robot application system virtual simulation platform.It integrates industrial robot technology,modeling technology,virtual simulation,digital twins and OPC UA technology.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,an industrial robot application system is designed to satisfy users' multi-level and multi-angle understanding and mastering of industrial robots and their applications.Based on the hexagonal workbench,the modular structure design of the typical applications of palletizing,grinding,vision,assembly and storage in the application system of industrial robots.Next introduce the process simulation of industrial robot application system,design the process flow of five applications of palletizing,grinding,vision,assembly and warehousing respectively.Use Robot Studio offline programming and simulation software to build a simulation system.The feasibility of this scheme is verified through simulation,and finally the optimized program is imported into a customized industrial robot application system and debugged successfully.Then develop a set of virtual simulation platform for industrial robot application system,and the research of this platform is also the core of this subject.Build virtual scenes based on Unity 3D virtual reality engine.In order to achieve a more realistic virtual simulation effect,real-time collision detection is performed on game objects,screen adaptive processing is performed on the UI interface,and rich control functions are designed.To meet the teaching needs of multiple levels and angles,the OPC UA protocol is used to realize the communication between the industrial robot and the PC to realize the synchronous movement of the real industrial robot and the virtual industrial robot.Finally,the offline interactive test and online teaching test verify the feasibility of the platform serving industrial robot teaching in colleges and universities.Based on the digital twins,the research and development of a virtual simulation platform for an industrial robot application system is completed.The main functions of the platform are:the use of human-computer interaction to serve the teaching of industrial robots,the realization of model display,structure display,five kinds of application animation demonstrations and tutorial tests;the teaching pendant controls the movement of real industrial robots,and at the same time realizes the synchronization of industrial robots,The two are real-time and consistent.The platform serves the teaching of industrial robots in colleges and universities,and applies visual control to industrial production.It has good application value and broad development prospects.
