The development of Information Technology,Internet Technology,and Virtual Reality technology has a very significant impact on people’s lifestyles and ways of thinking.It has triggered changes in educational methods and learning methods.People’s learning methods have gradually turned to digital learning.Digital resources are the basic conditions for digital learning activities.Therefore,the level of digital resources will directly affect the effectiveness of digital learning.The emergence of VR technology has had a profound effect on all fields.Virtual teaching products are used in teaching,so teaching effectiveness has improved significantly.However,due to a variety of reasons,the number of digital resources for general technical courses in middle schools is relatively small compared to other disciplines,and few studies have combined virtual reality technology and general technology courses.Therefore,the author combines the relevant education theory and learning theory to study the problem of using virtual reality technology to design and develop digital resources for general technical courses.This study first reviews the development of digital resources at home and abroad,and investigates the current status of educational resources for general technical courses in representative large platforms in China.Based on the above,this paper analyzes the concept of digital resources and virtual reality technology.Secondly,this paper explains the guiding significance of constructivist theory,situational cognition and learning theory,Dell’s “tower of experience” theory for this study,and briefly introduces the development tools of the system.Then,this paper analyzes the feasibility of designing and developing digital resources for general technical courses.At the same time,combining the characteristics of high school students’ physiology and psychology and general technical course materials,the overall design of the system includes the development process,instructional design,and overall structure of the system.Finally,this paper describes the methodology and process for the development of digital resource systems for general technology courses and summarized the results and deficiencies of the study.The purpose of this article is to address the relative lack of digital resources in high school general technical courses,support the development of teaching activities in general technology courses,and try to provide learners with a practical operating environment,so that learners can enhance their understanding of general technology courses and understand,improve technical literacy,increase the way to solve the problem through personal experience.
