| As the first and only international A-class film festival in China,Shanghai International Film Festival has become an important cultural card for Shanghai and even China.It not only provides a communication and cooperation platform for the dialogue between Chinese films and international cultures,but also plays a great role for Chinese films to enter the international arena.Through literature review,comparative analysis and case analysis,this paper studies the management mode of Shanghai International Film Festival based on the theory of organizational life cycle,and divides the film festival into four development stages,namely,establishment,growth,maturity and transformation;In-depth analysis from the perspective of management,from the film festival funds,policies and allocation of public resources,operating concepts and modes,setting of content sections,film trading market,etc.,this paper analyzes and expounds the shortcomings exposed by the Shanghai International Film Festival under the current development situation,and extracts its essence to get rid of its dross.Through the research of this paper,it is considered that there is still a long way to go before the Shanghai International Film Festival matures: the deviation of the current management mode,including the funding of the film festival,the allocation of public resources and policy support,and the establishment of ideological and cultural security management paradigm;It is impossible to highlight its own characteristics and value in the setting of the film festival;It is difficult to balance culture and commerce in the functional orientation of the film festival;The promotion of internationalization is still insufficient,and the highest award of the film festival,"Golden Goblet Awards",has limited international influence;For Shanghai city brand building has not achieved the expected results.On this basis,this paper will put forward targeted suggestions on the current management mode of Shanghai International Film Festival,and explore the development path of international film festival in line with China’s special national conditions. |
