Clinical Observation Of Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Ischemic Stroke With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Purpose:Observing the efficacy and safety of Jiawei Buyang Huanwu Decoction in the treatment of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome in the acute phase of ischemic stroke highlights the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions and provides new ideas for the treatment of related diseases by Chinese medicine.Material and method: It is planned to enroll 72 patients,and 60 cases are actually enrolled due to the impact of the epidemic.The included patients are all patients with acute ischemic stroke who were hospitalized in the First Department of Brain Diseases,Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2020 to March 2021.Patients with syndromes of Qi deficiency and blood stasis based on TCM differentiation will be treated as random numbers.The method is divided into observation group and control group.Observation group: Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction(composition: Astragalus30 g,Red Peony root 10 g,Ligusticum chuanxiong 10 g,Angelica 10 g,Dilong 10 g,Peach kernel 10 g,Safflower 10 g,Rehmannia glutinosa 15 g,Scutellaria baicalensis10 g,Coptis 10 g,Phellodendron chinensis 10 g,Zhizhi 10 g of cinnamon sticks,10 g of cinnamon sticks,15 g of tuckahoe,10 g of tree peony bark,decocted in water,100 ml each time,warmed twice a day),continuous medication for 14 days.Control group: Give Buyang Huanwu Decoction(composition: Astragalus 30 g,Red peony root 10 g,Chuanxiong 10 g,Angelica 10 g,Dilong 10 g,Peach kernel 10 g,Safflower 10 g,decoction,100 ml each time,warm twice a day),Continuous medication for 14 days.Basic treatment: According to the patient’s condition,according to the "Chinese Acute Ischemic Stroke Diagnosis and Treatment Guide 2018" [1] to regulate blood pressure,regulate blood sugar,anti-platelet aggregation,strengthen lipid-lowering,neuroprotection,dehydration,lowering intracranial pressure,and promoting blood circulation with traditional Chinese medicine Treatment of blood stasis medicine(injection),rehabilitation,acupuncture,etc.Calculate the scores of neurological deficits,modified Rankin scale,ability of daily living(Barthel index)scores and TCM syndrome scores in observation group and control group-3-0 days before treatment and 14±2 days after treatment.Result:1.The scores of neurological deficits in the observation group and the control group decreased after medication(P<0.05),but the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.The scores of the modified Rankin and the ability of daily living(Barthel index)in the observation group and the control group were improved(P<0.05),but the improvement of the two groups was similar(P>0.05).3.The TCM syndromes of the observation group and the control group were improved compared with before(P<0.05),but the curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.During the medication period,neither group of patients had any adverse reactions,and no treatment was discontinued due to serious adverse events.Conclusion:1.Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with basic treatment and Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with basic treatment can improve TCM syndromes,neurological deficits,and improve the quality of life of patients.2.Modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with basic treatment is better than Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with basic treatment in improving patients’ TCM syndromes,neurological deficits,and improving the quality of life of patients.3.Jiawei Buyang Huanwu Decoction focuses on the main symptoms based on syndrome differentiation,without forgetting the overall view.The syndrome differentiation covers the entire process of the occurrence and development of stroke,and it is safe and effective,and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
