Objectives:Based on existing research results,Combining the physical and mental characteristics of 5?6 years old children with moderate autism, designing standardized exercise intervention programs for them.Through empirical research, observe and analyze the effects of exercise intervention programs on children with moderate autism aged 5?6 years. With a view to the promotion and application of exercise intervention programs, and to provide reference and help for the formulation of exercise intervention program for moderate autistic children in the future. Methods:Total of 36 children aged 5-6 years old who were diagnosed by Tianjin Children's Hospital(International Classification of Diseases 10 th Edition(ICD-10))and diagnosed as moderate autism were selected. They were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 16)and control group(n = 16).Before the beginning of the experiment, the two groups of autistic children were tested with the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist(ATEC),physical activity, physical shape, physical fitness, cardiac function and fine movements. The experimental group carried out the10-week exercise intervention program for moderate autistic children, while the control group maintained the original exercise habits(performing games assisted by parents and rehabilitation personnel).Because of the particularity of autistic children,in order to make the subjects in the experimental group learn and master the exercise content designed in the exercise intervention program, and successfully complete the exercise intervention program, this study arranged a 4-week exercise intervention adaptation period before the implementation of the exercise intervention program.During the formal implementation of the exercise intervention program, the target heart rate combined with children's physical activity scale and observation were used to control the exercise intensity. After the exercise intervention, the Autistic Treatment Evaluation Checklist(ATEC),body shape, physical fitness, cardiac function and fine motor tests were performed on the two groups of autistic children again. After summarizing the data, the database is established by Excel, and then imported into SPSS25.0 for statistical analysis.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in baseline age, height, weight,Body Mass Index(BMI),sitting time, low physical activity time and medium-high physical activity time between the experimental group and the control group(P >0.05).(2)The exercise intervention program is to carry out aerobic and strength exercises by means of games for 10 weeks, three times a week, for 30 minutes, and the exercise intensity is 50% of the reserve heart rate of the subjects;the exercise content includes warm-up activities, main parts and relaxation activities,warm-up activities(5 minutes)for the active activities of all joints of the whole body and walking with arms swinging and jogging according to the command. The main part(20 minutes)is small spoon dribbling run(10 meters)*2 group, drilling net climbing(10 meters)* 3 group, left and right hand alternating ball 30 times*2 group, frog jump+rabbit jump+opening and closing jump 30 times*2 groups.push tire run(10meters)*3,30 seconds oblique support*2,double crab run(10 meters)*2;relaxation activities(5 minutes)are aerobic rhythmic exercises.(3)After exercise intervention, the sensory / cognitive ability, expression /language / communication, social ability and health / physiology / behavior of the experimental group were significantly improved as compared with those before intervention(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in all indexes in the control group(P >0.05).(4)After exercise intervention, the body fat rate of the experimental group decreased significantly(P<0.01),but there was no significant different in height, weight,BMI,fat weight and lean body weight in the experimental group(P >0.05)and there was no significant difference in all indexes in the control group(P >0.05).(5)After exercise intervention, the scores of 10-meter return run, standing long jump, tennis throw, continuous jump of both feet and walking balance beam in the experimental group increased significantly(P<0.01).The performance of flexion in sitting position increased significantly(P< 0.05).There was no significant difference in all indexes in the control group(P >0.05).(6)After exercise intervention, the cardiac function index of experimental group improved significantly(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the control group(P >0.05).(7)After exercise intervention, coins, beads, drawing and the total scores of fine movements in the experimental group were significantly improved(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in all indexes in the control group(P >0.05).Conclusion:After 10 weeks of exercise intervention, the physical health level and exercise ability of the subjects in the experimental group were significantly improved, and the symptoms were significantly improved, which confirmed that the exercise intervention program designed in this study played a good role in improving the health of children with moderate autism.it is also suggested that safe and effective exercise intervention can improve the physical health level of autistic children and improve their symptoms.
