ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of canggui point probing acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation of blood stasis type. Objective to conduct a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effect of canggui point probing acupuncture on the improvement of pain degree and daily activity dysfunction of patients with blood stasis type of lumbar disc herniation before and after treatment,so as to find a simple, safe and effective treatment method for this disease, which is easy for patients to accept, and provide more and effective clinical evidence for acupuncture treatment of this disease.Method1.32 patients with blood stasis type of lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into two groups by dice and drawing lots,16 cases in the treatment group and 16 cases in the control group.2.Experimental group:canggui point probing acupuncture method selected waist, buttock and thigh points(Shenshu,Dachangshu,Huantiao, yinmen, waist Ashi points),Ciliao,Weizhong,Yanglingquan and Kunlun were not treated with manipulation.3.Control group:the same as the treatment group,no manipulation treatment.4.Course of treatment:three times a week,30 minutes,a total of 4 weeks of treatment,4 weeks after the end of the treatment follow-up.5.Observation indexes and collection time:pain rating index(PRI),visual analogue scale(VAS),present pain intensity(PPI)in short form of McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ)Japanese Orthopaedic assessment score(JOA scores)was collected before treatment and at 1,2,3,4 and 8 weeks after treatment;VAS and PPI were collected after the first treatment;Oswestry disability index(ODI)was collected before treatment,4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment.Result1.Short form McGill Pain Questionnaire(SF-MPQ)(1)Pain Rating Index(PRI):Comparison between groups:there was no significant difference in PRI score between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Intra group comparison:? With the increase of treatment times, the PRI score of the two groups will change significantly(P<0.05);? The PRI score of the two groups had significant changes at each time point after treatment(P>0.05);(2)Visual Analogue Scale(VAS):Comparison between the two groups:there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Intra group comparison:? With the increase of treatment times, the VAS score of the two groups will change significantly(P<0.05);? The VAS scores of the two groups decreased at all time points after treatment(P>0.05);(3)Purrent Pain Intensity(PPI):Comparison between groups:there was no significant difference in PPI score between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Intra group comparison:?With the increase of treatment times, the PPI score of the two groups would change significantly(P<0.05);? The PPI scores of the two groups at each time point after treatment had significant changes compared with before treatment(P>0.05);2.Japanese Orthopedic Association low back pain score(JOA):Comparison between the two groups:there was no significant difference in JOA score between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Intra group comparison:? With the increase of treatment times, the JOA score of the two groups had significant changes(P<0.05);? The JOA scores of the two groups at the 2nd,3rd,4th and 8th week after treatment were significantly different from those before treatment(P>0.05);3.Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)comparison:Comparison between groups:there was no significant difference in ODI scores between the two groups before treatment,4 weeks and 8 weeks(P>0.05).Intra group comparison:the ODI scores of the two groups at the 4th and 8th week were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Canggui point probing acupuncture has significant immediate analgesic effect in the treatment of blood stasis type of lumbar disc herniation, and with the increase of treatment times,it can reduce the pain related score of patients, and also has good long-term curative effect;2.Canggui point probing acupuncture can significantly improve the ability of daily activities of lumbar disc herniation of blood stasis type, and the long-term effect is good.
