The Effect Of Physician Safety On Achievement Motivation

The bad relationship between doctors and patients in nowadays raises a lot of topical discussions.Current studies have shown that the relationship between doctors and patients will impact doctors' sense of security and the decrease of sense of security will increase the risk of having psychological diseases or causes other problems,but there is no study on the association between sense of security and achievement motivation of doctors so far.This study took doctors as research object,using Security Questionnaire,General Self-Efficacy Scale,Self-Esteem Scale and Achievement Motivation Scale to investigate the impact of sense of security of doctors on their achievement motivation and the functionality and working path of self-efficacy and self-esteem during this process.411 valid questionnaires were collected out of 480 distributed questionnaires.Results are as follow:(1)Doctors' sense of security,achievement motivation and self-esteem have significant variation on age group,education level and monthly salary,while doctors' self-efficacy has significant variation on education level and monthly salary.(2)Avoiding failure motivation has significant negative correlation with sense of security,interpersonal security,sense of control,self-efficacy and self-esteem;while sense of security,interpersonal security,sense of control,achievement motivation,success motivation,selfefficacy and self-esteem are pairwise significantly positive correlated.(3)Self-efficacy plays a mediating role between sense of security and achievement motivation.(4)Self-esteem doesn't play a moderating role in the direct effect of sense of security on achievement motivation,but plays a moderating role to the mediating effect of self-efficacy between sense of security and achievement motivation.
