A Multi-center Clinical Study Of Angong Jiangya Pill In The Treatment Of Primary Hypertension Class I (excessive Liver-fire Syndrome)

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy and security of angongjiangya pills in the treatment of patients of primary hypertension grade I(overabundant Liver-Fire syndrome)by observing improvement of their symptoms at the 2weeks and 4weeks.MethodsThis test adopts randomized,double-blind,multi-center,controlling with placebo methods.Collect 96 patients of primary hypertension grade ?(overabundant Liver-Fire syndrome)who in age of 18-70,divide them into the test group and the control group,each group has 48 cases.The test group received angongjiangya pills and the control group were given placebos.The duration of treatment for both groups was 4 weeks.Observing blood pressure and clinical symptoms improvements at the 2 weeks and 4 weeks.And compare the symptoms of dizziness,headache,irritability between two groups at 2 weeks and 4 weeks,Observe the general examination and laboratory indicators for abnormalities.Using SPSS21.0 software for statistical analysis of efficacy.Results1.The test has completed 96cases.Test group completed 44cases,4cases of loss,loss rate of 8.33%;Control group completed 42cases,6cases of loss,loss rate of 12.5%.2.There were no significant differences between two groups in the age,gender,total symptom scores,clinical symptoms,blood pressure level,two groups of patients can be compared.3.The total effective percentage of blood pressure in the test group was significantly higher at 2 weeks and 4 weeks,the test group on the improvement of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly better than the control group at 4 weeks.4.The test group were superior to control group on the improvement of the various symptoms of TCM,such as headache,dizziness,irritability,etc.5.During the test,there was an adverse events recorded in control group with patient's alanine aminotransferase was 119U/L,resulting from excessive drinking,there were no adverse events were found in the rest of the patients.ConclusionAngongjiangya pill is effective and safety in the treatment of primary hypertension grade?(overabundant Liver-Fire syndrome).
