| Purpose:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction by observing the effect of modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction on the patients of grade 1 of essential hypertension(syndrome of hyperactivities of the liver-fire).Method:A total of 60 patients diagnosed as essential hypertension grade 1(syndrome of hyperactivities of the liver-fire)from July 2019 to July 2020 and meeting the inclusion criteria were selected from an outpatient department of cardiology,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and were randomly divided 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group. The treatment Group was treated with modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction, while the control group was treated with irbesartan tablets(Anlai)for 4 weeks. The clinical effects were observed through the changes of blood pressure before and after treatment, the total effective rate of lowering blood pressure, and the scores of TCM symptoms,at the same time, the adverse reactions occurred in the course of the experiment should be recorded. The data collected in this experiment were analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.Results:1.Comparison of antihypertensive efficacy and total effective rate: after treatment, the blood pressure of the two groups significantly decreased,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.;In terms of the total effective rate of lowering blood pressure, the total effective rate of the experimental group was 86.67%,the total effective rate of the control group was80.00%,P>0.05,and there was no statistical significance between the two groups.2.Comparison of curative effect of TCM syndromes:In the improvement of TCM symptoms, the total effective rate of the experimental group was 86.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 53.33%,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.3.Comparison of total scores of TCM syndromes: 12.37±2.21 before treatment and 4.37±2.71 after treatment in the experimental group,12.90±2.02 before treatment and 8.67±3.28 after treatment in the control group,P values of both groups were <0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.;After treatment, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant,P<0.05,and the total score improvement of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was better than that in the control group.4.Comparison of single syndrome scores of TCM:The intra-group comparison between the two groups before and after treatment showed P values <0.05,which was statistically significant, indicating that both groups could improve the single syndrome of TCM;Comparison between the two groups after treatment shows that the experimental group is better than the control group in improving the symptoms of dizziness, headache, irritability, redness of the face, redness of the eyes, dry mouth and urination, and the P values were all<0.05,which has statistical significance. The P values of bitter mouth and constipation were >0.05,and the difference is insignificant.5.Safety analysis: There were no abnormal blood routine, liver and kidney function, and no adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain before and after treatment in the two groups.Conclusion:1.Modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction has good antihypertensive effect and clinical efficacy in patients with essential hypertension grade 1(syndrome of hyperactivities of the liver-fire).2.Modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction can significantly improve the TCM symptoms of patients with essential hypertension grade 1(syndrome of hyperactivities of the liver-fire).3.Modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction has better safety in treating patients with essential hypertension grade 1(syndrome of hyperactivities of the liver-fire). |
