direction and innovation mode of Characteristic Towns in the current academic circles Research shows that innovation and exploration are the basis of industry progress,and the driving force of innovation comes from self exploration and reflection of the industry[29].As an emerging product,characteristic town should have different creative characteristics from traditional town.In design,it should highlight local characteristics and pay attention to the construction of characteristics.Therefore,it is necessary to find a new development mode to determine the direction for the development of characteristic station.Rural tourism is a form of tourism advocated by the state in recent years.The development of rural tourism not only makes the economic structure more diversified,but also promotes the common development of the countryside and the city.Rural tourism is characterized by folk customs.Buildings with local characteristics and local folk customs constitute the entity and emotional elements respectively,and become the core of rural tourism.Rural tourism is the core of rural tourism In order to experience the rural emotional,feel the charm of the countryside[36].This thesis summarizes the development of Characteristic Towns and the existing problems of domestic characteristic towns,studies the relevant theories of characteristic towns,discusses the ideal
