As the precondition and basic strength of enterprise development,talents are also the key to effectively implement enterprise strategy.YS Company as the only state-owned enterprise in Yunnan Province with the special qualification of general contractor of water conservancy and hydropower projects in western China.YS Company has long been committed to water conservancy and hydropower projects.Water conservancy and hydropower projects are of great significance to the development of national economy and national construction.The project of water conservancy and nydropower industry is huge,the use of high-tech precision equipment needs professional talents,and the quality of staff is crucial to the construction level,project progress and cost.YS Company lacks attention to human resources,resulting in the problem of brain drain,which will affect corporate performance and long-term development.Based on the practice of human resource management,this paper makes a systematic analysis of the employee turnover problem and current situation in YS Company.First of all,this study summarizes the research background and significance,and sorts out the concepts,theoretical basis,research models and related studies Telated to brain drain at domestic and abroad.In the second place,this study explores and analyzes the present situation of brain drain in YS Company in the past five years through case study,deeply investigates the current situation of employee demission in YS Company,and analyzes its impact consequences.Thirdly,a questionnaire survey on turnover intention of in-service personnel is conducted to analyze the influence of demographic variables and various factors on turnover intention.Finally,the main reasons for the brain drain are summarized according to the information of the exit interview,and the effective countermeasures are put forward.Combined with those in-depth investigation results,the reasons for the serious brain drain in YS Company are as follows:personal factors of employees include high psychological expectation,limited career development space,negative impact of work on family or personal feelings,etc.Internal factors include poor working conditions,autocratic leadership style,imperfect performance appraisal and unsatisfactory welfare.External factors include loose employment policy,information of talent market and fierce industry competition.Therefore,based on the above problems and the actual situation of YS Company,this study puts forward a series of measures to deal with the brain drain,so as to help YS Company reduce the brain drain rate and increase the investment and accumulation of human resources,so as to maintain its strong vitality and leading position in the industry.
