Research On The Application Of The Traditional Dragon Boat Festival "rope With Five Colors" Elements In The Design Of Cultural And Creative Derivatives

In the traditional Dragon Boat Festival culture,the custom of wearing multicolored rope has been handed down until now."multicolored rope" has become the main visual symbol of the Dragon Boat Festival due to its rich colors and unique forms of expression.This paper will focus on the summary of color and form of multicolored rope,based on an in-depth study of the its cultural origin,wearing customs and basic styles.Used the key extract from the traditional Dragon Boat Festival customs including rice dumplings,dragon boats,realgar wine,and tea sachets elements as symbols,coordinated with multicolored rope from extracting linear form.Also combined with the design concept of "multicolored rope" to reinterpret the visual image of the Dragon Boat Festival with modernization,symbolization,and visual graphic to better integrate the modern design of derivatives,form with distinctive characteristics,national style and adapt to the new era of development of innovative festival culture derivatives.We hope the unique form of "multicolored rope" derivatives can better show the cultural charm of the Dragon Boat Festival in a new and unique way.Improving peoples' interests,especially the younger generation to pay attention and understand the traditional Dragon Boat Festival,which is the great significant heritage of traditional festival culture.
