Custom Culture Feature Extraction And Product Design Of Dragon Boat Festival

Under the background of social transformation and globalization,the organic integration of products and traditional culture is one of the most important development directions of future design.Product design must reflect certain cultural characteristics while satisfying consumers' demands of functions.This paper firstly collected relevant information of cultural materials from different perspectives through literature review.Based on the research status of traditional festival culture and related knowledge of folklore,this paper teased out the traditional culture of Dragon Boat Festival,and summarized its historical development and classification.Secondly,this study selected the most representative materials of Dragon Boat Festival customs and cultures in people's memories by using the questionnaire survey of public awareness.Combining with the relevant theories of design semiotics,this paper analyzed the characteristic maps of the selected representative materials of Dragon Boat Festival custom culture,and constructed its material bank.Next,this paper used the feature extraction method to get the characteristic elements of the Dragon Boat Festival custom culture,and used the qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze user perception and consumption needs,create role model,and obtain user needs.At the same time,the author applied shape grammar to extract and reconstruct cultural features,which can be transformed into design elements.Finally,according to user needs and Market Research results,this research carried out the concept design of Dragon Boat Festival custom cultural products.Based on the SD method,the results of design practices are evaluated,and guidance is obtained to improve and optimize product design.And the effectiveness of the design method and process is verified by specific design cases,and the best scheme is selected.In this way,through such research and corresponding products design,we can promote the integration of traditional festival with modern life,and traditional festival customs and culture can be explained,understood and approached by more people.
