Performance evaluation,as the basis of enterprise management,is an indispensable part of enterprise day-to-day management.A scientific performance evaluation system can not only accurately evaluate the performance evaluation of various departments and employees of the enterprise,but also ensure the implementation of enterprise strategic objectives.In order to avoid environmental pollution and energy shortages,countries have begun to call for environmental protection,energy conservation and emission reduction,and new energy vehicles have gradually become the future development trend of the automobile industry.Under this background,China’s automobile industry has also begun to develop new energy vehicles,which also led to the fierce market competition in the domestic new energy vehicle industry.BYD,as an automotive enterprise seeking development,needs to explore a comprehensive and scientific performance evaluation system in order to gain advantages in a competitive market environment.BYD’s performance evaluation system at this stage is mainly based on financial indicators.By comparing goals set at the end of the year with those set at the beginning of the year,BYD can evaluate the performance evaluation results of the enterprise in that year.However,the evaluation system lacks the connection with the strategic objectives of the enterprise.Considering the shortcomings of BYD’s existing performance evaluation system,this paper introduces the balanced scorecard.The balanced scorecard is a performance evaluation method oriented to the strategic goals of an enterprises,which can make a more objective evaluation of the performance results of enterprises.First of all,this paper uses SWOT analysis to compare BYD’s internal and external environment,clarify BYD’s strategic goals,and draw corresponding strategic maps.Secondly,according to the framework of the balanced scorecard,the performance evaluation indicators that match its strategic objectives are selected,and the weight of each evaluation index is determined by analytic hierarchy process.Thirdly,the new evaluation system is applied to BYD,and the evaluation results of BYD are briefly analyzed.Finally,compare the old and new performance evaluation systems,and put forward the next development countermeasures to improve BYD’s performance according to BYD’s performance evaluation results.
