Research On The Public Space Design Of Youth Apartments Based On The Spirit Of Place

The rapid expansion of urbanization and the demand for employment have caused a large number of young people to continue to flow into big cities.As a disadvantaged group in the rental market,the practical problems they face seem to be far from the goal of "housing to live".In recent years,the emergence of standardization,youthfulness,standardization,and excellent service for youth apartments has given some opportunities to the traditional rental market,and it has also provided young people with more targeted temporary housing.Compared with traditional decentralized leasing products,youth apartments are not only more comfortable and reasonable in the design of living space,but also more diverse in functional space.At the same time,it meets the living and working mode of young people with different working backgrounds.It also advocates "sharing"."The concept of living" actively guides the friendly exchanges and interactions among tenants in the layout of public spaces and the creation of a community atmosphere.However,with the rapid expansion of the market and scale of major youth apartment brands across the country,the design of youth apartments is constantly being roughly copied,gradually becoming a single standardization and modelization,and losing the expression of the place’s regional characteristics and humanistic temperament.At the same time,there is a lack of in-depth research on the living habits and living behaviors of local youth groups,especially in the functional configuration and style of public spaces,falling into the situation of copying and imitating the industry’s leading brands,not forming a localized design method,and losing the expression of the spirit of the place.The existence of youth apartments should not only provide young people with "housing",but carry the spiritual needs of dialogue between people and places.In the design of the public space of youth apartments,a kind of warmth and comfort of "home" should be created.The public space is not only a functional space,but also guides renters to a more stable and trustworthy spiritual space.Based on Norbert Schutz ’ s theory of place spirit,through the investigation and analysis of the living habits of youth groups,it summarizes the construction strategies applicable to the public space of youth apartments,hoping to expand the available reference materials and materials in this field.The design method provides reference and thinking space for future generations.This article includes six chapters.First of all,in the introduction of the article,a detailed statement of the relevant research background of the youth apartment and a review of domestic and foreign research is made,and the concept and definition of the research object are explained,and the shortcomings in the design of the youth apartment in our country are clarified;,Deeply analyze the sources and concepts of place spirit related theories,from the era background and philosophical basis of place theory,to the main research level of place,to the connotation of place spirit and two important concepts,and analyze the youth groups Analysis of the characteristics,residential needs,content of communication and residential behavior patterns of the young people,and summarize the relationship between the youth group and the spirit of the place;again,based on the understanding of the development and research of youth apartments and public spaces,the two domestic A design case was analyzed,and the existing problems and solutions were put forward to pave the way for the following.Then,through the application mode of place theory and the generation level of place spirit,the spirit of place in the public space of youth apartments was refined,and it was concluded that place spirit is in the youth.Design trends and specific design strategies in the public space of the apartment;then,on the basis of the previous article,combined with the thinking of the relationship between people and place in the area where the youth apartment is located,the design strategy is applied to the transformation design of the public space of the youth apartment in the V territory.In the design,the expression of the place spirit is completed;finally,the methods and results of the research on the public space design of youth apartments based on the spirit of place are summarized,and the limitations of this research and the future prospects for the public space of youth apartments are put forward.
