Research On The Public Space Design Of Youth Apartment Under The Concept Of Integrated Community

Since the housing reform,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,the construction of youth apartment is not only facing the improvement of "quantity",but also the challenge of "quality".The rapid growth of rental groups also puts forward new requirements for the construction of youth apartment.Based on the concept of integrated community,paying attention to the public space construction of youth apartments has become one of the focuses of designers.This paper sorts out the indemnificatory housing system,and starts to sort out the research trends of youth apartments at home and abroad.This paper discusses the definition and composition of community(including material environment and cultural environment),makes clear the definition of integrated community,and clarifies each development period of it.This paper makes clear the definition and classification of youth apartment,deduces the definition and classification of youth apartment public space from two aspects of residential public space and architectural public space and analyzes the elements and characteristics of youth apartment public space.This paper selects three representative youth apartment communities in Suzhou Industrial Park as the survey objects,using the methods of behavior annotation,field observation and interview,investigates the current situation of public space in residential area from two aspects of material environment and cultural environment,including eight aspects: public service facilities,public activity space,access mechanism,exit mechanism,rent,system culture,cultural organizations,young residents’ living style and consumption style,young residents’ activity type and activity characteristics.This paper constructs the youth apartment public space satisfaction survey index system,uses the SPSS software to carry on the statistical analysis to the satisfaction survey data results,summarizes the elements that should be paid attention to in the youth apartment public space design under the integrated community concept,including six factors:service factor,cultural factor,leisure factor,safety factor,physical activity and emotional factor and special space factor The comprehensive weight of each factor is calculated.Based on the results of the current situation investigation and satisfaction investigation of the public space of the youth apartment,this paper comprehensively analyzes and summarizes the problems by using the quad-graph analysis method,summarizes the merits and defects of the cases investigated and sorts out the elements of the desgin of the research objects,including material environment design elements and cultural environment design elements.The design elements of material environment include the specific elements of type level,constituent level and design level.The design elements of cultural environment include the concrete elements of substance,behavior,regime and spirit.This paper puts forward the principles of demand orientation,utility maximization and dynamic adaptability for the design of youth apartment public space under the concept of integrated community.Following two clues of material environment and cultural environment,this paper puts forward five design strategies that aim at three aspects of public activity space,public services facilities and residential culture: youth-baby complex public activity space that responses to diferent ways of living,activity oriented public activity space that meets youths’ high-frequency activities,intensive community that promote the high-volume-rate space,convenient business services that follows the youth activities time,public services facilities that matches the behavior culture ofyouth and build the "youth harbor" that has a sense of belonging.
