Post-occupancy Evaluation And Optimization Strategy Of Public Space In Youth Apartment

With the rapid economic development of the city,a large number of young people are pouring into the first and second tier cities.However,the high house price and high rent make it difficult for young people to rent and buy traditional houses.As a special type,apartments for young people came into being.In recent years,the government has issued relevant apartment leasing policies,and the new construction and transformation projects of youth apartments are emerging.The emergence of new types of residence aims to meet the needs of contemporary young people and provides them with comfortable and livable environment.Different from the traditional apartment,the youth apartment not only basically meets the living function,but also public space,as an important part of the function of the youth apartment,is the key space for social interaction among young people.However,through a large number of research,the author found that there are still many problems in the public space of youth apartments,which greatly affect the use efficiency and function of the public space,fail to better serve the users,and cause great waste,so the systematic post evaluation of the public space of youth apartments needs to be carried out urgently.Based on Shenzhen,through the investigation of public space and residents of the representative youth apartments in Shenzhen,this paper conducts Post-occupancy Evaluation in three types of public space,infrastructure public space and polysemy public space,and makes a comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation with the "diagnostic" Post-occupancy Evaluation method.Find out the shortcomings and problems in use,and combine with the actual situation and excellent design cases to put forward corresponding optimization strategies about space design,so as to create a better social atmosphere for young people’s living space.POE is the assessment of the built environment and the feedback of each link.However,unlike the mature POE system in foreign countries,POE is still in its infancy in China.Therefore,this paper hopes to discuss the design of the existing youth public space through POE research methods,hoping to provide some suggestions for the future youth apartment.This is of theoretical significance for the future design of youth apartments,practical value for the design of public space,and exploration significance for the expansion and promotion of "pre planning-post evaluation".
