Construction industry plays an important role in China's economic development,which has created a large number of GDP and provided a large number of jobs.However,there are many problems in the field of traditional construction engineering.For example,due to insufficient design,there are many changes,low production efficiency and serious waste of resources.Therefore,in China's construction projects,more than 75% of the project overspend seriously,more than 70% of the project schedule overdue.Aiming at the above problems,this project proposes BIM technology project management,introduces BIM technology into cost management of EPC project,and solves the cost control problems of EPC project design,procurement and construction at three different stages.At last,the effectiveness of BIM technology on cost control of EPC project is verified through the actual case of wujin high-tech zone hub project.This paper first introduces the topic selection background and research significance of the subject,puts forward the existing problems of project management in the field of construction engineering,and introduces BIM technology based on this,discusses the research status and application results of BIM technology at home and abroad.Secondly,the related theories of EPC project cost control based on BIM technology are analyzed.This paper analyzes the mode and characteristics of EPC general contracting,studies the calculation of earned value method and the cost control based on earned value method.The characteristics of BIM technology and its application in integrated pipeline,virtual construction and culvert design are discussed.On this basis,the application of BIM technology in the cost control of EPC project is studied,and the application of traditional and bim-based technology in design,procurement and construction is compared and analyzed respectively.On the basis of the above analysis,this paper analyzes the specific cases of the hub project of wujin high-tech zone.On the basis of analyzing the project profile of this case,this paper analyzes the BIM technology-based project transformation design scheme,and emphatically analyzes the earned value method cost control based on BIM technology.The period from July to December during the actual construction of the project is selected as the cost control node for analysis.By deriving the cost data,calculating the cost deviation,analyzing the causes of the cost deviation on the basis of the cost deviation,and then determining the direction and method of cost control.Finally,through the cost forecast,the total cost of the final possible cost is analyzed.Finally,the paper analyzes the actual implementation effect of wujin high-tech zone hub project.Through the comparison with the total cost of actual completion,it is known that the bim-based cost prediction in this project is relatively accurate and the cost control results are significant.By summarizing the project,the integrated application of BIM based on EPC general contracting mode is proposed,the content of cost control in each stage of the EPC general contracting project based on BIM technology is analyzed,as well as the advantages of the integration of BIM technology in the three stages of EPC project.Finally,the points for attention in the cost control of EPC project based on BIM technology are summarized.
