| The Belt and Road initiative has opened doors for Chinese contractors.Many companies take this opportunity to actively participate in the construction of developing countries in Asia,Africa,and other regions along the Belt and Road,most of them are general contracting projects.Because of fierce competition,not only local companies and domestic companies,especially cost in labor,materials,and machinery,these factors have affected overall implementation of the specific project.In order to maximize corporate profits,we learn from the theories and methods of cost control by domestic and foreign scholars,and learn from the management experience of "going out" advanced enterprises in general contracting cost control,using a set of scientific and effective guide the model to implement project cost control,enhance the competitiveness of projects along the Belt and Road and improve corporate efficiency.Through a comprehensive overview of the current research status at home and abroad,the development of cost control and theoretical methods is summarized,and the related theoretical methods of the project are described,which provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent establishment of a cost control model.Secondly,it briefly introduces the characteristics and background of general contracting projects of the Belt and Road Initiative.The cost structure of Pakistan’s BS project is relatively complex,and there are many factors affecting the cost.This paper constructs a control model of analytic hierarchy process and earned value method to analyze the influencing factors of the construction cost of the BS project,and concludes that design changes,maintenance of mechanical equipment and selection of construction subcontractors are the main factors that affect the cost.Finally,through the analysis of project cost deviation,corrective measures and cost control strategies are proposed.Data analysis based on earned value method and analytic hierarchy process can not only identify influencing factors,but also judge cost deviations along with progress.The single earned value method can be extended to another level,and the constructed theoretical control model has a certain role in theoretical research,it also has a very important meaning for the specific operation of actual engineering projects. |
