Marx's Ecological Thoughts In The 1844 Economic And Philosophical Manuscripts And Their Contemporary Echoes

Karl Marx’s ecological thoughts was an indispensable part of the system of Marxist philosophy,which was an aspect that Marx and Engels had devoted themselves to.We could find the fact that they have many ideas about ecological thoughts formulation in their works.And Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844(hereinafter referred to as “Manuscripts”),Manuscripts formed the ideological system of Marxist ecological philosophy,which was the logical starting point of Marxism’s ecological thoughts.In the context of the time,Marxism found the fact that the destruction of the ecological environment caused by capitalist society led to the breakout of the ecological crisis.Behind the ecological crisis was people’s indifferent attitude and ignorance.The people of that era were blinded by economic interests and expropriated and abused recklessly,with contradicted attitude to the nature materialism had requested.However,Marx tried to exploring the relationship between nature and men in ecological thoughts he expressed,whose object of practice was the natural world while the subject was human.The most special feature of views in Manuscripts was the proposition of humanized nature,which requested that the relationship between human and nature should be understood in the theory of Alienated Labor.In addition,taking Marxism’s ecological thoughts of the Manuscripts as the core part to study not only could grasp the ecological thoughts as a whole,but also can inspire us to study systematically.Exploring the guiding function of Marxism’s ecological thoughts given to contemporary era will enable us to integrate the worldview with methodology better,which could help us understand nature and deal with the relationship between men and nature scientifically.This thesis starts from the history and theoretical background of ecological thoughts in the Manuscripts,and further in-depth study of the roots,specific contentsand practical significance of Marxism’s ecological thoughts.First of all,find the Ideological roots from the angle of the combination of the realistic history and theory union.Secondly,sort out the ecological thoughts in the Manuscripts deeply and expound its basics.Thirdly,by analyzing the concept of humanized nature proposed in the Manuscripts could we summarize the basics of the ecological thoughts.Finally,put the thoughts into the practice,which is the theoretical basis of the emergence of ecological Marxism and offers guidance on the construction of ecological civilization in China.We could also find it is helpful for the offer of ideological guide on the solution to the crisis of the ecological problems that happened in China and even around the world frequently.The paper aims at discussing the practical significance and theoretical value of the contemporary practice of ecological thoughts in the Manuscripts from various dimensions.
