Language is the carrier and an important part of human culture.When a language disappears,the entire civilization corresponding to it also disappears.It is currently a common method to study the mechanism of language endangerment and regulation by constructing models of language evolution.Although the current research makes the dynamic mechanism of language competition more and more perfect,it is still far from the theoretical and practical investigations of social linguists,mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1)The current micro-simulation model mainly considers the strong social relationship network,but does not take into account the rapid socialization of today's society caused by the new social network and evolution of the social relationship from the strong social relationship to weak social relationship enhancement.(2)Despite the introduction of the bilingual population in the micro model,there is no reasonable expression of the role and role of bilinguals in language evolution.(3)The mechanism of individual language attitude cultivation and bilingual teaching on the protection of vulnerable languages has not been considered.In response to these problems,the following researches have been carried out in this thesis:(1)This thesis improves the modeling method of agent-based social circle networks,and builds social networks with remote weak connection relationships.It can describe the increasing trend of weak social networks caused by regional population mobility and communication connections in the context of urbanization.In addition to considering the influence of language status and the proportion of language population on the language evolution mechanism of different populations,a new mechanism that influences the influence of bilinguals on the transition from monolinguals to bilinguals,language attitudes,and network connections on language selection behaviors was introduced.This thesis presents an improved agent language level and vertical propagation model.The model simulation analyzes the influence of language attitude and bilingual cohesion factors on language inheritance and transmission under the conditions of mixed population and settlement.The results of calculation experiments show that: strongly connected social networks are conducive to slowing down the decline of vulnerable languages,but it cannot change the final evolution trend;Against the background of weak social network enhancement,measures such as cultivating positive language attitudes and improving the influence of bilinguals on the transition from monolinguals to bilinguals are conducive to the formation of a stable national bilingual community.(2)Based on the social network with remote weak connection relationship,The binary string represents the internal lexical structure of the agent,and the improved formulas for horizontal and vertical transmission of agent language are given,the transmission formula takes into account the language attitude,language status and type of network connection relationship,decision-making behavior is more in line with language use decision-making mechanism.A star-shaped teaching network consisting of teacher nodes and learner nodes is added to the network,teacher agent can implement bilingual teaching for learner agents in the network.A micro-simulation model of dynamic social network of two-layer language competition composed of language level,vertical communication network and language teaching network is constructed.Finally,the dynamic characteristics simulation analysis and policy regulation calculation experiments are carried out for the three types of language retention types in China's current weak language.The experimental results prove that improving language attitude and implementing bilingual teaching are beneficial to the recovery and maintenance of weak language,and explore a new mechanism for the protection of weak language under the conditions of modern social network.The micro simulation model of language competition and protection society constructed in this thesis can simulate the dynamic characteristics of language competition in real life and the long-term evolution trend under different policies.Through a large number of computational experiments on the constructed model,various factors related to language extinction are obtained,which provides a feasible method and computational experimental platform for further research on endangered languages,and then provides theoretical basis and aided decision-making for language protection policies Support has certain theoretical significance and social value.The constructed model is universal,and it is also applicable to the fields of wireless sensor networks,network public opinion,and virus transmission.This thesis mainly uses the language competition model as an example.
